Tuesday early

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday early

Gmorning all :D

On my second cup of coffee & my second try at posting--poofed a msg, but fortunately it was only a few lines, so I don't mind starting agan.....I still have an hour or so before daylight--chomping at the bit to get out to the yard. Planted more bulbs yesterday in my new flower plot, & suddenly I'm looking forward to getting home in the spring  & I haven't even left for the winter yet.

Perfect fall weather--after a very cold weekend. Bro will be by today--we need to replace some rotting window trim. Oh, did I mention that CA sis & fam will be here this weekend? Looking forward to seeing my newly married nieces, but as many of you may recall, I had a melt down this time last year when both sisters were here  BJ, I've held firm to your advice given back then--I've managed to "keep my distance" from being emotionally invested in them ;) & as I said, only one sister here this time.

Yep, Bronc is a cutie--sure makes a G'ma proud :D Beth, again you must have done a stellar job to be hired for next season already! Doesn't surprise me. Oh yeah, being on the road during winter makes an "endless summer"--I can't handle temps below 60 either

Y'all have a great day & safe travels always 8-)

Good morning all. My goodness, Carolb, you are up and at 'em early! Early for me too but I have an early appointment for a mamo this morning so need to have time to wake up before I go! Then lunch with a friend later. I need to get dog food today too. So I guess today will be run around day. I need to mow the yard either today or tomorrow since they are calling for rain again by the end of the week. I've been going to my son's new house building site the last several days, he's working on getting the walls ready for a cement pour on Friday. Not sure if that'll happen since there's a 90% chance of rain. But what do I know, I just follow directions and do the running and fetching!

I finally got my new 30 amp line put in yesterday. He was supposed to come Sunday but we held off since it rained a good part of the week end. So now I have 2 outlets out back RV's! I'll move Lola close to the new one so she'll be out from under the trees for the winter. Geez, it'll be time to winterize her soon, I need to call my RV guy to do it and to take care of a couple of other things I've wanted done.

Cheryl, thanks for the link on the baskets. I looked but even the small ones don't look like they'll work in the space I have. I may have to rethink the arrangements of the cupboards. I have a tall narrow cupboard near the "kitchen" area and have put food stuff there but it's a pain the have to dig through it to get to things. Plus everything falls when I'm moving so I have to rearrange everytime I stop. I'm kinda like you, don't want to be drilling and hit something I shouldn't!

Judi, hope you survived your evening with the grands! I took my GS to something similar and swore I'd never do it again! Donna, glad you made it to FL and sounds like you had a good trip. Broc is a cutie! Love the photo with him and the chicks. And Beth, sounds like you had a successful summer and are on the way to your next assignment. New things to explore! Lyn, sending thoughts your way. It's a tough time for your family. Take care of yourself too.

Time to get moving and get ready for my day. Travel safe and have a good day.

Good morning all.

Sitting here wondering how Judy did at Chucky Cheese; she is a braver woman than I!

For those of you having trouble with posts going *poof*, you might want to type them up in a different format like Word and just copy them over?

Seems like everyone in our condo wants to come out and see the Roadtrek, everyone just loves it and is fascinated by it. They seem to think nothing of opening doors and cabinets and looking in... is this normal behavior when you let someone into your rig... or just non-rvers?

Mickie, the only time I open cabinets is when the rigs are sitting on the sales lot.....then everything is fair game. I would say it is a non- RVer thing. Those of us that have RV are all too aware of the scary things that can be hiding behind closed cabinets....

Good Morning !!! Pat, I love those pictures of your grandson, he is adorable. Know he is a real joy for you. Beth, I'm not surprised they wanted you back, just have been curious as to whether you would go back or not. Judy, you are really a brave grandma, I sure hope you survived to join us here this morning :o :D

I'm waiting and watching for the power company to come and turn my power back on so I will have water again. Have managed well, but I'm done managing, I want to stand under the shower and just let the water run    There are wonderful people in this world, I could name sooo many who helped me with this problem I had. They all seemed more concerned about it then I was :D My huge tree, that I feared might fall in the winds we have from time to time is down !!! 7 trees growing out of one base, had many onlookers watching and wondering and saying they had never seen such, well I hadn't either and the taller they got the more I worried, So gone now and what a relief !!! Now to get power on and water and it might be kind of normal here, whatever that is

I have a huge laundry to do, came home from trip with loads of it, have new washer you know, thought it needed a work out, well, I have gathered more since arriving home and I have learned, NEVER COME HOME WITH SO MUCH DIRTY LAUNDRY, something will happen and you can't wash it

Hoping those who have been ill are feeling much better and any problems are going away, and those on the road, stay safe, but do enjoy your trip. So glad to know you were out of that nasty weather Donna, glad to see your post. Beth, enjoy your travels to next job, after being off the road for awhile, enjoy the scenery !!! Have a good day, Everyone, doing whatever pleases you,

CArol :)

Good Morning, I too await Judy's report on her adventure to that place no adult should have to venture. Busy morning on here, CArol is airing her dirty laundry  & getting electric restored. Carolb is up and raring to go. Mickie is having show and tell. This is the day my friend is to arrive and apparently I finally did get across to her how unwise her choice of lodging was and she booked another motel that is much better. Maybe it was the review titled The Hotel from H**l I sent that got her attention. I ran across a recipe for Rabbit Pot Pie on FB this morning but I told the dogs to forget it!!! No matter how many rabbits they bring me I'm not cooking rabbit anything!! Oh and I had a FB message from a man I worked with many years ago saying 'Did I want to pick him up for a hot date or was I still with what's his name?" I'm wondering if his account or his mind was hacked!

Lots going on here!
Pat, adorable pic of Bronc!
CArol, hope your electric is back on soon.
Mickie, I think that must be non RVers too; I would never just open someone's cupboards unless they told me to or I asked permission.
BJ, don't send those bunnies up north! I prefer tame bunnies to the wild ones.
Carolb, you can stop by my house anytime to plant some flower bulbs, or pull weeds, or anything yard related.

Very frustrating past couple of days. Yesterday I tried twice to buy a new handgun and twice they hadn't gotten it in the store yet. I'm calling this morning before making a third trip. Also received a letter from Blue Cross that they are discontinuing my health care plan and I need to pick a new one. Well, let me tell ya, it's H##l trying to get into my healthcare.gov account. I even called the help line and they couldn't get me in! Have to try again later when I have time. Can't even get into my cell phone account today to see how much data we have used with these new phones and I need to get them to fix a glitch on mine. Two computers and a smartphone and I still can't get anywhere!

Going to be a busy next two weeks, I have petsits coming out of my ears! Need to call my horse vet and reschedule their appointment for a less busy day. Much as I'd like to I just can't figure out how to be in more than one place at a time.

I "think" breakfast was toast and coffee here, but everything's a blur. :D
Everyone take care,
Kathy

Luckily, I DID survive Chuck E Cheese! First, it was very unbusy, and the kids that were there were a group of tiny ones, about three or four years old tops, and they were cute and shy and watched by parents. No teenagers or older kids. The little ones would just wander around with a token in their hand and not know what to do with it. Being a Monday evening may have helped. Also, my three, ages 6, 7, and 9 were familiar with the games and just went off and played by themselves. Amazing! No yelling or fighting or hitting, until the last 10 minutes of the car ride home. Got them home just in time for quick homework and to bed. Except I left. Parents asked if I wanted to stay for a while---nnooooo thanks.

Between that and Cedar Point the day before, my legs, hips, back, neck, and shoulders are still sore. Not much not sore.

Carolb, those of us who are NOT morning people consider those of you who actually like to get up early a different species! I cannot imagine actually enjoying mornings because even sleeping in, I stagger around groggy for an hour or so. :?

And for the rest, ditto what Kathy/gingerk said. Except I hope those were live bunnies like the ones my son's cat brought into the house. Cute Bronc and hope no one else was near the bad weather.

And, Queen, no, most RVers are better behaved. Never had anyone look in my cabinets, but I guess that would make you keep things neat!

Good morning. I would never open someone's drawers- home or RV - unless I was helping in the kitchen and needed something there or the person asked me to get something from a drawer. If someone is that rude in your RV, i would ask them to leave. Maybe they thought it was for sale?? Now, when I'm looking at RVs for sale on the lot, yes, I open cabinets, drawers.

Darling photos of Bronc!!

I can't imagine why anyone would open cupboards in someone else's rig!

Judy, I wish I still had grands young enough for Chucky Cheese! I do enjoy the amusement parks these days tho. Memories are worth tired and sore.

Beth, not surprised you'll be going back to Keystone!

CArol, glad the trees are gone and hope electricity is on!

Carolb, I thought of you when I was awake at 5 and up at 6!

Took truck for oil change and spending time with daughter. Helping her figure out her new Kindle Fire while she makes Meade. Going out for lunch - just the two of us.
