   Good post Cheryl. Said it all. About same here too. Same old although have two appt. this afternoon. Beautiful but chilly morning and a bit of light frost along with it.

Had lunch with Louise (HavingFunNow) yesterday. Good time and chat as always. Great day for both of us to drive too.

So, that's all for today from this end. Maybe some of those who follow will have more exciting news. I'm waiting for Tina o post a pic of the newest member of the furry family.

Good morning all!

Dang it, forgot Rabbits again! Wouldn't you think being a rabbit breeder for over 15 yrs. I could remember something like that? Obviously NOT!

Just day to day here too, except trying to plan one last camp out. Hoping Cheryl can join me and might be bringing my niece with too. Eileen, I will message you with my plans plus something else I'm working on.

Wait, what? Tina's adding to her furry crew? How did I miss this?

Glad you and Louise had such a nice visit, Sue.

Tomorrow is a vet day for Buddy, shots and a check up. Then the horses on Monday for fall work and Ms. Cody needs her right fore x-rayed and she's limping. My farrier suggested she have an x-ray as he suspects she may have something going on because of her Cushings.

So far, loving my S5. And since it's different from DH's he won't be grabbing the wrong one. He's too funny; the other day he asked me to put all his contacts in his phone. I did, but I betcha he doesn't know how to get them to come up and call them! Poor guy is technically challenged!

That's about all from here for now. Off to see how my day unfolds!
Everyone take care,
Kathy

Well good morning everyone I am sitting here in St Marys Georgia trying to decide about the hurricane... I don't think the hurricane just going to sit here but we could get a lots of rain bands from the hurricane... I do not want to drive in rain and I'm thinking that could happen on Sunday morning when I want to leave have to be at my doctors appointment 7:30 a.m. on Monday... so do I just say the heck with it and head for Melbourne now or I would like to spend a few days at the campgrounds with Miss mermaid where she is located.. I haven't got too much news on the hurricane so I don't know where it's going to go anybody know out there that could enlighten me... anyway everybody have a fun filled day & B safe...donna

Good morning Everybody from beautiful Lake Meredith somewhere in the panhandle of Texas; just a day away from Albuquerque! Sue, nice that you and Louise are close enough that you get to visit. Ask her about the giant strudel for me. I would like to know more. Cheryl and Kathy, coffee is on in my rig and I can fix you whatever you'd like for breakfast. It might take awhile and making toast always sets of the smoke detector. Enjoy today, Peggy

That's funny, Peggy! Mine does that too! I always have to remember to take out the battery before making toast.

Just had a nice visit from park manager here at West Branch State Park in Ohio. Last time I was here in July, I was in a full hookup site. The last day, my son and grandkids were about done with their afternoon cookout so I filled a big jug with water from the outside faucet to dump on the campfire. Then I noticed how yellow it was and freaked out because I had been drinking it all week. I know that my whole coach water filter probably got rid of whatever was in it, so it was not too bad, but it did upset me. And when I go out today, I am going to get a second, hose line filter, just in case. (The whole house filter is hard to access and change.)

So when I checked in yesterday, the first time since then, I told them at the desk about the yellow water that granddaughter had even thought was lemonade! Hence the visit today. She assured me that they test the water daily and explained the process they go through to produce their drinking water for the campground, including the state-of-the-art filters, etc. Had a nice chat and she wants to do what I am doing someday. Gave her my blog URL and the one for the forum.

Heading out now to run a bunch of errands. Tomorrow I get a rental car and go see the kids. Will have them overnight on the weekend.

I remembered Rabbits last night but I had probably said something to one of the cats before that.

I took my car to get serviced this morning. Things must be slow around there. I called yesterday afternoon for an appointment and I could have brought it at 8:30, 9:30 or 10:30. The last time I took it I couldn't get an appointment for 3 or 4 days. There are so many car dealers and car lots with in 50 miles of me. I don't know how they sell all those cars. They sure don't want to give customers any good deals.

Donna, the hurricane is still in the Bahamas. The cool front that is coming through is suppose to turn it North starting tomorrow. Right now the cone of uncertainty has it headed for the Carolina's and farther North. There is a lot of rain predicted for Florida and the East Coast for the next few days that doesn't have anything to do with the hurricane yet. I would keep an eye on the weather and my gas tank full for the next few days.

I'm making a pot of gumbo to take camping next week. I hope it is gumbo weather and not hot.

Very grey day, both weather and the terrible shooting in Oregon. Just said on tv may be 17 dead, up from earlier report of 7 to 10. So very sad. As usual info changing, now they say number dead is 13 and gunman dead. Not sure how we will find ways to stop this type situation.
Sprinkles at times here. Mel's shoulder is hurting a lot. We will lay low here today. Have chicken stock I cooked overnight to strain and jar for freezer. Weather cooling so thinking of chili.
I think my rabbit died years ago as I always forget to say it until later in day when I see mentioned here.
Stay safe and think ahead those in hurricane zone.
