Getting bugs off. What works?

I picked up lots of bugs on the front of my camper during a recent trip. Minnesota must grow them really sticky because I'm having lots more trouble than normal getting the front of the camper clean. Has anyone found a great product for this? The camper exterior is fiberglas. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. (And a WHOLE LOT of thanks if anyone shows up at my place and does the work!!!! )

I have read that a damp dryer sheet will remove bugs but I haven't tried it yet. The front of my car is full of love bugs so now would be a good time to see if it works.

Dampened Bounce sheets work.

Super Clean in purple bottle at Walmart. It also removes the wax so not for everyone. With truck camper, I can't reach to use drier sheets. Spray it on, let it sit and then wash. I have even used it at car wash without brush.

I use wet dryer sheet (unscented, of course lol - for me). (They can even be used ones.)

Thanks, ladies! I tried the dryer sheets this afternoon and they worked pretty well. The front of the camper looks lots better. I'm not heading out again until late October, so I hope a frost or two has thinned out the insect population by then.

Glad to know the dryer sheets work on bug removal. Will need to try that when I get home. Bugs seem particularly bad on backs of my side mirrors

There is also a product at automotive stores called bug off. Dryer sheets didn't work for me, but the bug off seem to melt those little bugs.

Blue Beacon Truck Wash. They do an excellent job of getting bugs off! Just hard to find one when you need one. For a motorhome 30 feet or under, they charge $28. Over 30' is $35, which is pretty cheap compared to the work it takes this old lady. Last time I did it myself was a month ago, and my neck and shoulders hurt for two days.

No, those are TOTAL prices!! Really worth it considering how much work it is.

Now, understand that they do not dry your vehicle, but whatever they use makes a lot fewer spots on my windows than what I have ever tried. I just drive off and let it dry in the wind. Works great. They are behind truck stops. You just pull in behind the semis and wait your turn. When you get to the front of the line, they will direct you in and start getting the vehicle wet so it will start soaking. Then you tell them what you want (you can add extras like RainX or Weathershield for a few bucks) and get out to go into the office to pay when directed. While you are paying, about 6 guys swarm your vehicle with wands and brushes. Takes maybe 5-10 minutes for the wash itself, but be prepared to wait half an hour or more in line. (I use the time to fix a sandwich or check email.) Also, remember to make sure all vents and windows are closed!!

Try it, and you will be hooked! Just wish they had more of these.

They also don't do the roof (which is good with all we have up there) and I have more than once experienced water inside from my stove fan vent - so I usually put a couple paper towels against it inside. I've never had much of a wait, but I usually drive by if they are really busy. My problem is I usually take backroads and they are located off interstates, normally by truck stops.

Excellent! My local car wash that will do my Jeep for $5 wants $10 per foot for Angel. And that's just a wash, no wax or anything.

The prices that some places charge is ridiculous! I have had campsites tell me that someone will come out and hand-wash my vehicle for $150 to $200, but I will not pay those prices. In the past I did it myself rather than be charged so much by the foot. But I am just getting too old to be washing such a big vehicle.

Blue Beacon also has an app you can add to your phone, although I have not yet downloaded that. I do keep a couple of their little location brochures handy, however.
