Past noon here in WA. Been getting ready for a quick trip to Salome, AZ the first week of Oct. Hoping to set up my winter base there.

I'm too lazy to type on the phone or tablet. Finally got the laptop out so I could post photos on FB!

Back in Kansas where we are having a little rain now and then. No biggie but I'd really like to go do laundry! I have so much that I'm going to take it to Laundromat with the Slingshot.

I had a great trip to Washington State for my 50th class reunion plus a good visit with some family. I'll be here now until October 19. Then will head toward Alabama.

I'm working. Worked 7:30 am to 8:30 pm yesterday. Today I opened, and got help from a gentleman from Rapid City (he's coming tomorrow am, also, yippee) then went home and zoned out. Yesterday it was very, very busy. Today, dead! Actually good thing it was busy on the long day, as time flew by. I'm still hoping it gets busier before closing time, but who knows. Only 5 more open days and the days will be shortened Sunday and probably drastically more Mon- Wed.

Maybe we will have to start calling this "Morning Brunch." I like to put everything away the night before, so seldom post on days when I am in a hurry to go somewhere.

Will be back in Ohio by next Friday and will spend time with grandkids. Then will head to Detroit for a few days, and finally head west for the winter!

Got a late start out of Shipshewana this morning due to very dense fog but made decent time today in spite of fighting unexpected wind. Had planned to go a bit further but pulled into a little campground early when I saw sign "next campground 100 miles". Just getting lazy, I think.
Nicky and I were treated to a beautiful sunset and watched the moon rise. The wind died down just before sunset making me wish I had some firewood; no camp fires so far on this trip. Good thing the moon is bright, no lights in park and a weak flashlight battery.
