Sorry you're having a rough go of it, Donna. Hang in there, it will get better. Treat yourself to a nice campground as soon as you have some nice weather.

So sorry for for your loss, Donna. I have lost more than one over the years. Probably most of us have. It never gets easier. They all take a piece of our heart with them when they go - a piece we never get back.

My sweet Rodrey James went to the Bridge almost two weeks ago now. I still wake up every morning weeping. Took a quick trip to the Casacde volcanoes the next day. Couldn't stand to be at home - glance up to look for him and he's not there. Get up to let him in from outside... Oh yes. Gone.

It was better for me on the road. Different for you of course, you take your home with you - no escape.

Have another Pap, if you can. No other will ever be like Maggie, no other can ever replace her. Never happen. But a Pap will remind you of her, as no other breed can do. Over time, it will help to heal your heart, although there will forevermore be a part of your heart that is missing.

Until that wonderful day when you meet, again, at the Bridge, you will know then that she was always just keeping it safe for you.

empty space...
I rarely use WW as I like to be where I can put out the slides and enjoy the stop
