Getting ready to go Wednesday

Good morning gals!
Getting ready for my next trip, this time I'm heading south a ways. Will meet up with another group and go to another Apple Festival! LOL. This time it's a Pork & Apple Fest so I'm thinking there will be lots of goodies to find to eat. My friend Daun will be going along with me.

Woke up extra early this morning, just couldn't sleep anymore I guess. So I'm up and going already. Will do some final shopping and get everything loaded up tonight. Plan is to pick up Daun, and take her & Angel to my last client's house, do my dogwalk then leave from there.

I seem to be having an extreme amount of spiders in and around my house this year. Anyone else notice an increase? I don't remember having so many spiders and their webs this early in the year. I don't want to spray because of the dogs but I may have no choice.

Kathy glad to hear you are heading out again. They are having a Bar BQue cook off in Murphysboro this weekend and it's always a fun time. Late week they had their Apple Festival, I bet the town people wish they would combine them as it causes lots of parking and traffic problems. You said you are getting a lot of spiders I found a web site that has all types of ways to get rid of them. I think I will try the salt and water spray. http://pestkill.org/insect/spiders/repellent/ I've not noticed many spiders but more bag worms than I've ever seen. I played bumper pool last night at the local tavern where everyone goes to eat. Lots of fun it, had been so long since I had played I had forgotten how but soon picked it up. The woman who was bringing me up to date on the rules is someone I met recently and we both said we felt we knew each other as soon as we were introduced. She said her husband who was with her asked if I was someone she had known for a long time that he hadn't met.
Well off to walk dogs and get the day started.

Funny you should say this, BJ; that's how I felt when I met Eileen( beazle) this past weekend. It was like I already knew her.

Good late morning
Kathy, we had a very large increase in spider population in north AL this year. My Terminix tech said it was due to the prolonged high humidity and heat. I'm having my house treated while I'm gone. Have been killing spiders in/on Magic for over a week now.
I seem to be attracting more biting bug now that allergies have increased. Got stung by wasp at flea market yesterday and my hand is severely swollen today.
Off for other adventures shortly.
