I'm in much the same boat, Queen - almost no blood family left but I have found a lot of "family" here.

Carol and I made it safely to our park for the night - only a few minor glitches along the way but no getting lost. GPS did however miss the park by 3.5 miles - fortunately saw the sign in time to ignore the GPS. Weather was good and while the TN roads were mostly up and down hills and around snaky curves all the way (much like a roll coaster) they were well maintained. Easier shot across KY. We are near the OH River on KY/IN border at a pretty state park. Not many here and it is very quite and dark tonight. Tomorrow will be yet another travel adventure on up to Rockville..

Carol, my husband was a Navy electronics tech and says make sure the electrician verifies that the breaker is not old causing it to trip. They will do that as they do age out. What wattage is your microwave and we can calculate amps it draws. For instance a big 1800 watt microwave draws 15 amps. Amps= power of oven in watts divided by house voltage which is normally 120. So 1800 watt divided by 120= 15 amps. If you have a smaller oven just plug in numbers and divide.
