Let's start our day with a good morning here.

An arrrghh Saturday

Mornin' ladies ~

So much to do in prep for the IN gtg's and I have to go to work today. They decided to do a big system maintenance (moving servers, etc) and I now have to go in for testing apps when they start coming back on line  so looks like the packing, grocery shopping and (little bit) of food prep with have to be tomorrow instead.

Congrats to Rosemary on her last day of work. Sorry, can't remember what else I read this week.

Have a good day ladies and stay safe on the roads.

Morning Cheryl and all who follow,

Sorry to you have to head into work today Cheryl, no fun when you are trying to get things done for a trip. But bright side is, when you walk out the door, you are free for the whole next week :D Grocery shopping on the agenda here for this morning too and then packing stuff into the trailer tomorrow. It's all sitting by the door waiting to go out. Need to do a final load of wash today too. 'spent yesterday cleaning both BBQ grills, couple of errands to town, Molly to doggie spa and cut part of my grass. Will probably finish it today and do neighbors before I leave as well. With the cooler weather here not, it takes the grass most of the morning to just dry out.

Tina, hope you can get a wheel alignment or whatever needs to be done, so your tires will stay in good shape. I found out via my friend who is coming to the GTG's that TT's sometimes need axle alignments too. Guess if you are having tire troubles on your TT, you should have axle checked by somebody who specializes in that. They say that when people keep wearing or blowing out tires, it's a sign the axle needs alignment. Usually just a shim to make the axle bend the right way so the tires ride like they should. She had to have hers done last month.

Rosemary, congrats on retirement. Now you can play with your new TT. Ava, I have been wondering if those shooting incidents were in your area at all. There's been some incidents in southern Mi too, but haven't heard anymore of late.Sorry to hear about your friends home and land being in path of or maybe destroyed by fire.

Sounds like everybody else doing okay, just busy with the day to day stuff. Judy, hope you get the internet stuff straightened out.

Well, I"m off. Need to get a move on here, breakfast dishes to do, get dressed and head for the store. You all have a nice day today.

Good morning
Looks like a good day for a road trip after the fog lifts. Threw way too much in Magic yesterday with no time to put things away. Then got a ride for me and Nicky back to campground last night. Got some stuff stored but a few things still need to find a place to ride before we pull out. Poor Nicky did not get his spa day before leaving. Will be meeting Carol in TN late this afternoon. Looking forward to seeing her and all the others at gtgs.
[I move so slowly these days, better get going on a couple of things if I want to get on the road before noon.
Have a good day.

Good morning,

Sorry about having to go to work today Cheryl. That's no fun to try to get everything ready to go on a trip when you have to spend time at work.

Well, didn't make it to fair yesterday. DH obviously did not want to go so he left it up to me to call the shots when it was so rainy. Of course right after I said stay home it stopped raining and the sun came out, beautiful day! Isn't that always the way it goes? I was at loose ends (never a good thing for me) so I went shopping for new phones (see? what did I tell you?) for both of us. Kinda got mine up and running but now I have to transfer all my contact info and everything else to the new one so that means another call to CS. And then I have to figure out how to work the phone because I'll need to teach DH how to. He's using my old flip phone. This is NOT going to be fun.

Went out to work this morning and after that I made a trip to Jewel and bank. Today we are invited to a picnic at a customer's home for the unveiling of his new show car. Since we painted it and did all the bodywork, we got invited. Nice people but I'd really rather have a cook out at my own house. Later maybe we will go into town for "MooseFest". I joined this spring thinking they had a group I could camp with; didn't realize you have to pay to join the camping group and then they want you to volunteer for all sorts of parties and such. Silly me, I didn't read the fine print on that one! MooseFest is food, beverages and a band in the public parking lot adjacent to the Moose Hall. So it might be worth a look see.

About all I got for today, everyone take care,
Kathy

Lovely cool morning here, not supposed to get out of the sixties!! My kind of day plus it's a little overcast :) Judi I keep thinking about your cottage by the ocean and wishing, have you decided which months you are going to rent it?
Ava so sorry for your friends and all the others whose homes are in the fire area. Cheryl going to work when not planned makes it so much worse, hope the day passes quickly! Sarah hope you get on the road today. :) Kathy if you bought the iPhones they are really easy, I'm surprised they didn't switch your contacts for you. My DH was able to use his iPhone, first one he had ever 'got'! Sue if only I had your energy!

Late to the party today.

Finally cooled off a bit here, it took torrential rain for it to happen, ut it's below 80 for the first time in months.

We are starting to lay things out for our trip out to Karens, I got insurance all set up with State Farm ($315 a year full coverage) but when we went over the policy it really doesn't cover much more than the van part of it, no contents or RV systems. Might have to shop around for some real rv insurance.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

It's after 6 - I'm working till close. It's either feast or famine in here this shift. At one point I think I had over 10 people in line at the register, then there are times like now with no one but me in the store. It gives me a chance to catch up. But too much of the down time makes the night slow down.

Last night was Linda's and another solo workamper's last night. Linda pulled out this morning. I miss both of them already. There's one couple left, then next Sunday will be their last day. I have two people from another store that are helping me cover some shifts, so I shouldn't be too much of a zombie at the end. They are awesome and I'm lucky to have them the shifts they come in for.
