I "signed up" (an icon popped up on my task bar and is still there) for the upgrade maybe 5-6 weeks ago. The reply was that I would receive an email notification when 10 was ready to be downloaded to my computer. I'm still waiting.

I went to the Microsoft website to download it but it just keeps sending me in circles and I end up on the same page I started on and nothing happens.
Bethers wrote:Like Karen, I'm not a fan of Mac's either. Back some years building websites, the Mac's didn't have many of the programs I needed. And I never was able to justify the cost - especially since my computers last a long, long time. I replaced the old laptop I started on the road with in 2006 or 7 and am still using it (even though when I had a problem with it, I bought another because I couldn't afford to be without - and it's still my backup while I use the old one - which I fixed easily enough and shouldn't have gotten so nervous lol). That said, I know many who love their macs and would never go back. Kind of like how I love my Android - so will probably never have an IPhone.
I haven't put 8 on anything yet, but will eventually, I'm sure.
