"Only 9" for Peaches is a whole 'nother ballgame from 9 for 97lb. Buddy. He's probably got a lot less years left than little Peaches.
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

You never know. Tips was 1/2 Husky and 1/2 Newfoundland, 8-10 year life expectancy. Never expected him to out live Moxie who had the longer life expectancy. But he did, living to 14 1/2. So you really never know. When Tips was 9 my vet told me to enjoy every minute. When we went out in the RV in 2005, Tips got a second life. He loved the lifestyle. I swear it's why he lived till he did.
