I was up and out on the street at 5 AM this morning...don't know why Casey is getting up so early. Sun isn't even making an appearance at that time.
I too am thinking of Sandi and hope the news is good.
My daughter and family went camping this weekend. I am staying home and getting little odds and ends done. Continue to do the aqua jogging...Oueen, you inspire me! So happy for you and Mary getting Karen's road trek. You will love Karen as we all do.
Have a great day! lyn

Still praying for Sandi today, too. Hoping for good news when she is ready to share, but worried. nonetheless. We're off to Oshkosh today to an exhibit of the costumes from Downton Abbey at the art museum there. My car needed some expensive love this week, so we're sticking around here for a bit, but will be at Shipshewana in a few weeks. Another hot day here, after yesterday's mild day, but rainy; could use the rain.
Safe travels to those on the road, and have a happy Saturday, ladies,
Eileen

good morning ladies
cooler temps for the morning again so I'll be out in the shed for a couple hours tossing more stuff in a bag for the goodwill.
I'm enjoying these somewhat cooler temperatures right now.
I really don't have any news to share, just still counting down my time through this school year. Thats the first hurdle, and looking at our school calendar, there are lots of days off up until April. NOTHING in April so thinking it would be a good time to put in for a week off and go do something. Have to make that decision very soon cause I'm not the only one at work looking at that calendar and they do put a cap on time off requests.
Waiting for news from Sandi, and hoping and praying for good news.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Had a couple of stressful days, but am sitting and getting caught up on work today. First stress was checking into Fundy National Park and discovering that the promised internet was almost non-existent, even with my booster. I selected that place because it showed internet access at certain sites. Plus, my site was very narrow with lots of pine branches to scrape my vehicle in and out. I just hate that because of my expensive paint job. To see anything or get better internet I would have to drive out each day, and add to scratches on gel coat. Not good. (Never would have ordered paint, but was a floor model and came with it, although I am glad it has it, long term.) Also, no cell service, so no way to make another reservation. Very, very late at night I got enough signal to send an email to another park but they wanted a phone call the next day.

Next day, got refund and left for Alma, nearby town. Very nice bakery so I stocked up with goodies I could freeze and a couple to eat right away. Also took a bunch of photos for my blog of harbor with no water in it. (Check out my blog.) Had some fried clams and headed east. Then took the very narrow road to Cape Enrage. Stressful driving on curves and up and down hills, but well worth it at the end for the view. No way would you want to pull a trailer on that road, let alone a vehicle the size of mine! Took lot so photos, and made it to my current campground with half-way decent internet.

This is the last 10 days of the semester, so I have lots to finish. And of course, the college where I teach starts the new semester right after this one, so I have to have the first two weeks ready to go. Then I will have a small break before papers come in. Whew! It pays my bills and I do like the contact with students, however. Got a double undergrad course for fall, so at least no the two preps and two courses I have now.

Good Morning,

We are back in Wausaukee after such a fun time at the winery. Thursday after I got back, a neighbor wanted a SS ride for himself and his wife. The guys were done with their wiring project so we all at around drank and laughed - the crazy lady wasn't home.

Eileen, I probably have been near you at some point in all this traveling around Wisconsin. So excited for Queen and Karen on the buying and selling! I, too, am anxious to hear from Sandi. Ava, sounds like a good plan to have time off in April! Judy, you do have great finds in campgrounds, but it is too bad you have to have Internet. So wish I could make the 2 upcoming GTGs in Indiana, but looking forward to what is in my plans.

Today is to be about me fine tuning what backing skills I have so I can comfortably back the trailer. Still not sure if I'll leave tomorrow or early Monday. The cousin I plan to see in Iowa is having a garage sale all weekend so I don't want to get there until Tuesday so I won't be taking up her driveway!

Have a great day everyone! Safe travels.

Micki you are making all of us smile too :) :) so happy for you and Mary! Karen's Roadtrek will be a really good way to start your adventures as they are so easy to drive. My Pleasure Way is build on the '02 Dodge 3500 and it cruises along at 70 if I'm not paying attention.

I'm also thinking of Sandi this morning and hoping she has good news. It is hot and humid again here but they promise rain by mid-week, we can sure use it. We must have received our allotment in the spring and early summer. Nothing planned for the weekend except maybe going to dinner this evening, DH still feels pretty bad from his surgery last Monday. I called and took him in yesterday to have a nurse look at it. She explained how I should be caring for it and nothing she said was covered in the instruction sheet he was given. I told them I was going to re=write it for them and they agreed it needed more information.
Have a good weekend everyone!

Boy, miss a week and miss a lot on here. But glad to see no earth shattering news out there and everybody doing okay. Somehow missed a post about Sandi, but hope all goes well. Mickie, great news on buying Karen's Roadtrek. I'm sure you will enjoy it. and I know Karen will be happy to know it was purchased by somebody on the forum too.

Had a nice but hot week at Interlochen State Park. Stayed an extra day due to a small storm and heavy rains in the wee hours of Thursday, the day I was scheduled to leave. But figured that since everything was so wet and it as still kind of misty, why not just stay till Friday. Did have to put some things away wet as with the humid weather we have been having, nothing really dried, but will take care of that later this week. My TT needs a good cleaning inside and out as well. So will do that also, as time to get ready to leave again on the 14th for IN. Supposed to cool off nicely this coming week, so good time to get TT cleaned. Also need to mow the hayfield out here too. Was a hot camping trip too and actually had to stay inside on Tuesday afternoon with AC going as it was just so humid and still, just breathing broke you out in a sweat. And poor Molly was bored to tears over there as nothing much going on to watch.

Donna, sounds like you have a nice route planned out for trip home. Ava, I think that would be a great idea to take some time in April for a Get Away, you deserve it. See we have some more people coming t the GTG's. Going to be fun. Anita, you sound like you are having fun in WI too.

Well, lunch is calling, so guess I had better get moving here. Should do something constructive with this afternoon but not sure what. Can't do outside as too wet. But then, maybe a good movie on this afternoon to, who knows
