I think the waiting and not knowing is the worst. Fear of the unknown just sets our minds racing. I think it is good to search the internet but just remember each one of our situations is very different. Having just had my own health scare and avoided another surgery I consider myself lucky BUT I was very willing to do whatever it took to make me better.

I just saw my Rheumatologist today too but I am doing well in that area. Your Rheumy sounds like they are on top of it so it is ok to worry but we still need the definitive tests and diagnosis before we panic. Know that my healing thoughts are with you. Fingers crossed it is nothing serious.
