Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Hmmmmm...what's that noise Tuesday

Good morning all!

Woke up to the sound of scritch scritch scritch in the wall behind my headboard....hmmmmm.....think it might be mice! Time to bait the traps! My good friend Johnnie used to say that this is the time of year when all the wild things start trying to come in.

Looks like rain out this morning; haven't yet watched the news so I don't know if those clouds are going to stick around or blow away as the sun comes up.

We are going ahead with our plans to rent another building in the complex where our business is. Hopefully we will be able to get it all cleared out and rent it by October 1. It is a huge Quonset hut with a big enough doorway to get Angel AND possibly Pony inside for the winter. We plan on putting Pony on a small trailer so that she can be moved around or put in an at angle depending on where we have to park Angel. Putting Pony on the trailer was what I wanted to do to get her inside my garage; because she folds down, putting her on the low trailer would allow her to fit inside my garage's 8 ft. doors easily and be moved around if need be.

As I came back up to the house from feeding this morning, I took a walk around the big yard shed where we keep tools and lawnmowers and other stuff. It's in pretty poor shape so I'm thinking of what I need to do to it before winter or else replace it with something new. Thinking about those garages like carolb got because they bring them out and put them together for you on your spot. The problem is where to store all the stuff that's in this one while I wait for them to bring the next one? Maybe a project for next year.

That's about all my musings this morning, everyone take care,
Kathy
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

Good Morning Kathy and all who follow,

Nice musing this morning Kathy. Good that you will be able to put Angel and Pony both inside this winter and move the business besides. As to to sheds, will, that's a whole other ballgame Don't cha just love it when the wild things want to move in with us. I've usually got mouse or two that gets into my house in fall too. Need to check along my basement sill where it meets the foundation to see if any small holes have developed. I'm starting to think of pre winter chores around here too. Now that it's cooling off, I can do some tree trimming and shrub removal etc.

Damp and chilly is the word here since yesterday. Did get rain on Sunday but was warmer. Came just in time to stop me from finishing up the last of my grass mowing  ,so will have to do that once it dries up. Meantime, will work inside or just putter around. House cleaning on agenda today after having company for 3 days. We had a great time playing mini golf, taking a Lighthouse cruise out on Lake Michigan and ferry ride over to Mackinac Island, the which of was in midst of power failure when we got there. We walked up the main drag and peeked in the stores, but hard to find anything in the darkened interiors. Most stayed open, just cash only sales. Stopped at a local pub and had dinner by candlelight. Course dinner consisted of a sub sandwich and chips as kitchen was inoperable  Just added to he fun.

Peggy, so glad to see you post. Miss seeing you on here and wondered how you are doing. Was thinking it's too bad you re so far away from IN or you could join us and have a bit of a reunion with the gals who were on the MI trip in 2013.

House cleaning on agenda this morning and then not sure what afternoon will bring. Couple of ideas but see which I decide to do. Thinking maybe next week, might be time for a camping trip for a few days before having to start getting ready for IN trip. Coming up fast.

So, here's wishing you all a nice day, stay safe, enjoy travels for those who are.

Good Morning,

Way too cool and damp for me! Not ready for that yet. You ladies getting ready for winter already plus thoughts of heading south make me realize how time flies.

Judy, I hear you about long trips to get things done. We did the two trips last week to Green Bay, Friday will be another nearly that far and then back to Green Bay on Tuesday! One of the drawbacks of living/camping in the boonies! I'll be faced with that to get the latest repair on the SS when I get back to Kansas and it will be more than one trip I'm sure.

I'll be leaving in less than two weeks, and we sure haven't done everything we planned. Mostly thanks to the trailer needing to be fixed. Now I couldn't get a truck appointment until Friday for the wiring problem. We are planning to go to Door County tomorrow to shop a little (mostly for Cherry beer) and go to a fish boil.

Have a good day everyone!

It's a chilly 95 here today!!! Yes I meant chilly because a week ago it was 108!! They say clouds and 80's later in week but any rain will stay up north. Washington could sure use a downpour or two all across the state!
We are biding our time to hear from the UCSF Dr as to what their pathologists said on the slides sent from UCD. Then make decision as to surgery. Tough news was hearing that our surgeon, who we trust has accepted a new position in Los Angeles. So we will either have to go to UCSF or will be assigned a new Dr at UCD. Ugh
Have a good evening all.

Actually a nice day here in MH, CA
Velda - good luck with what you hear on hubby's slides!! Sorry that your Dr. that you trust is leaving the area - always a bummer but maybe the next one will be better!!
