Sweet girl answered on the first call and the reservation is in. I probalby won't make it over to the earlier gtg for the bridges. I know they are lovely but I have a couple of project that I want to tackle here before heading off for more dog shows and a trip to visit my son in New York State. (I haven't checked the mileage from his place to the Hornbeck store....yet. :shock:

Well now, that sounds like a nice treat. Have to look at how many miles from Rockwood back to Shipsey, but I think it can be done easily in a few hours. Probably a bit over 200+ miles. Am now starting to look at the map and doing some figuring. Friend Brenda and I have a tentative route figured out from her place in MI down to Rockville and most of that route will be used to return to Shipsey.

What! No T-Bone steak with twice baked potatoes, corn on the cob and a glass of wine served on white tablecloths

I'm bringing along a BBQ grill. Probably my gas one as it's bigger than my charcoal one, but still small enough to carry around.

So glad you're going to be there Tina, now if we could just make things quit happening down at Sarah's and she could come that would be nice.

I am serious, ladies. You have all heard of my parties where DH and I invite tons of people! So I'm well used to cooking for a bunch. You lot, will be easy! And no, Sue, not T-bones etc. Just burgers and hot dogs. So if you can give me any idea of a time span where you all might be rolling in, I'll put the kettle on.

At a couple gtgs I've made chili or something that I could keep warm in Crock pot so that everyone could eat as they arrived and set up. Just a thought.

Believe me, if you cook it, you will get some customers. But like Beth said, something that is easy to reheat for late comer, etc.

Ladies, I will be making sloppy joes for all who want them for Friday night. BYObeverages! Not sure what site I'll be in, as I guess they assign sites when you get there so everyone look for my Gulfstream Conquest. I have one of those solar powered garden things (it's an angel!) that change colors, I may just attach it to Angel's antenna mast so you know it's me! :lol:
