Glad you are making progress with your repairs. The internet is something. We will be doing heart surgery ourselves in a few years. lol We have had the adjustable beds for years and they use to send someone out to repair them. The last time one broke they sent the motor and I had to install it myself. When my husband's lift chair quit working I called the furniture store and they wanted me to haul it 50 miles to one of their stores or charge us $100 to come get it.
I called the company that made the motor and ordered a new one. All I had to do was plug it in.

Judy,

I found uTube videos on how to massage a trigger finger (thumb) that were very helpful. I suspect mine was not as much of a problem as your, but you might want to check uTube and see if it helps.

Progress! Duct tape and WD40 - if it moves and it isn't supposed to - use duct tape; if it doesn't move and it is supposed to - use WD40.

Going to try the massage exercises and pick up some small ice gel things to try some conservative things on my thumb. I suppose eventually I need to get the surgery, but would like to wait a while if I can.
