After a week of being sick I am finally on the mend so now I have LOTS to do to get ready. So happy to be feeling better. Just really need the clothes stuff, and some food. It has just been so damn hot. I am with you Sharon I dont remember it being this hot for so long this early. I know once I get there and get set up and the A/C going life will be good. The bad part is it has not cooled down at night like I want it to. Was 73 outside this morning at 5:30. My air comes on at 75 LOL

I'mgetting closer! Am at Diamond Lake. Wanted to stay at Crater Lake but both camps full..of course it was Saturday.

I drove from Truckee up to Mt Lassen, spent a couple of nights there. Hwy 89 the entire way...beautiful drive through forest.

I'll be comin into Stanton Park on Wednesday. Not sure what time. Look'in forward to seeing everyone again. Lyn

Lyn, Had I know you were at Diamond Lake, Mitch and I could have come by after our adventures on the horses this morning. She is just down the road from you at Lomolo with electic and I am farther down the road at Toketee in deep woods under hugh shade trees....but then I had the little Honda to run around in and see the big hole in the ground with water in it, so I didn't have to camp so close. We are heading out in the morning to a campground closer to Canyonville but will see you very soon. Be safe!

I was across the street from Diamond Lake in a FS camp...nice shade, sat outside all day Sunday? This morning, drove by, early, takeet lake. Saw your rig, Tina. Found a spot to park. When I got out of the truck, five Mosquitos immediately flew in an bit me! I'm out-a-here. Found a very nice camp, BLM further down the road. Lots of shade.

I will be in Stanton Park on Wednesday. Stop by and say hello. Your pictures are beautiful, Lyn

YUP Diamond lake is infamous for having large and aggressive mosquitoes certain times of the year. Guess this is one of those times., LOL good for you Lyn, glad you left the little buggers there.

Leaving in the morning making my way up to Junction City then back down to 7F on Wednesday. Will meet Laura at camping world and we will caravan down.

Let me know if you get and try it. Peaches might like that.

Looks like it could be used on grandchildren as well.....

I cancelled my reservation when I thought I was going to be driving to Montana to pick up a new RV. I'm going to call 7f when they open today to see if there is a spot for me. Stanton is full.

I hope you all have a great time together. I won't be doing much this summer as I have cataract surgery soon and I guess it takes a month or so to completely heal.

Wicked lady, don't count yourself out for too long. The day after my hubby had his first one done we stopped at VA for post op check then headed off camping. Of course I drove but he was fine. It is MY van ( yeah yeah joint in title but I picked it and orderedit)!

Three GTG attendees (Karen, Laura, and Mitch) were quite sick yesterday. All seem to be on the mend today. So no pictures of the group yet, but we're having a potluck tomorrow. Hopefully we'll have some people pics then. So I took my camera with me while walking my pups today.

Edit: I just edited my post. Only 3 were sick. Tina was not sick.
