I love that not only do people leave our chairs alone, the other campers don't raid our shelves with the beer on them.
Am sitting briefly to catch my breath. Have to go to training classes to night to help with the graduation CGC test for the beginners group. Herschel usually goes to play the part of the "Meet a stranger with a friendly dog" part. He loves anything that includes a few nice ear scratched and a possible belly rub. Blondie is scheduled to have an x-ray done tomorrow to try to guess how many pups she is planning to have next week. I am trying a new vet that several of my friends have used for some time. They speak highly of the group and because they are located in a more rural area their prices are much more reasonable that the clinic I worked for. They managed to add a charge for anything and everything. I figure I will talk to them and if I like the looks of the place and how they interact with Blondie and I, I will bring the litter back in for first shots, etc..... I spent today running errands for last minute "medical" supplies, ie I couldn't find my thermometer, needed baby wipes and some soft paper towel...not those cheap ones I usually use......Now if I can talk one of my friends into coming over and helping....
The baby watch/care through the middle of the night by yourself is nerve racking.... Okay it has been raining all day and all the four legged furry ones are ranging from damp to soaking wet. They seem content to stay in their small tiled anti-room area for now, but I know that later tonight they will expect the couch, sigh. Need to get another old blanket out.
