Little get together in California

As I mentioned in morning coffee, Diane and I had a little gtg yesterday. We met in a nearby town of Angles Camp, parked my car and she drove us up to the Calaveras Big Trees State Park. It was just awesome, and I could enjoy going again sometime. We made a stop in Arnold at a sandwich shop and we each purchased sandwiches to go and had a picnic after
we walked the trail.
The campground looked good with mostly level sights and all had their own water spigots and bear boxes.

Glad to know Calaveras is as beautiful as I remembered, it's been decades since I was there. I used to go to a Girl Scout Camp near there every summer. So glad you got to see it. Thanks for sharing your day.

Had to smile Alice when you commented, "ferns everywhere" , desert gal wouldn't have seen many at home was my thought. What a really nice place , so pretty, and that huge stump, I have never seen the like, Wow !! Thanks for posting, so glad you are doing some fun things on your vacation and no one nicer to tour you around then Diane. Glad you all have been able to GTG !!
