Denver and Beyond

Postby BirdbyBird » Wed Jun 10, 2015 3:01 pm

Mitch and I have reached a slow down and enjoy the woods portion of the trip. But we did both enjoy our stop over in Denver and our visits there and our opportunity to meet Red (Chris).

If you check out the blog besure to leave your suggestion below for "best caption"..... :)

Larry only recently was able to get his new knee put in after fighting months and months of infections. They are traveling to visit and vacation with the kids and are enjoying just being able to get out and back on the road a bit.

I added a caption with reference to a 'boy toy' to Abby's picture but it listed me as unknown...maybe I should have let you guess. :)

We are in a National Forest Campground not far from Montpelier. Both of us have been to Yellowstone and the Tetons before and though I could take another dose of the Tetons in the future we thought to concentrate or available travel time to areas we have not seen before. When taveling through Idaho with Nan coming back from Alaska in 2012 we both figured out that no one talks about Idaho's beauty because the folks that live there don't want outsiders to discover what they enjoy.....

I would tell you where we are going from here but we have been making travel plans only a couple days ahead. How long to stay depends upon how much we like what we find and figuring in possible weekend difficulties finding available spot depending upon where we might be heading. Currently there is only one other travel trailer in this campground. It looks like wilderness but low and behold still manages to have one bar of 3G service and can pull down ABC on the TV if you have the solar to run the TV briefly for the news, etc! Yeah, we are liking it here......

Perfect! Now all we need is for Abby to get her (My Talking Pet) voice back with a little pffftt for her tongue sticking out.
