Hear ye, hear ye, It's Saturday Morning and all is well !! Well I hope so anyway... My family has arrived yesterday late in the day and brought a nice surprise..Pizza !! LOL well my brother Anthony always boasts he makes the best Pizza.. and it was good..but I don't know about it being the Best !! Of course I'm typing this knowing he'll never read it..cause I'd never get away with it ...LOL As far as I'm concerned my sister "Maria" she's the baker of the family and the best of the Pizza Makers ..her sauce is like a gift..and the crust..well..here it is at almost 5am and I could go in and eat a cold piece of pizza..have ya ever done that ????? I bet ya have .... well, this weekend is no different from any other weekend cepting I don't have to cook...My brother likes to play chef.. like someone I met just recently too...Ernie..you and my brother would hit if off..big time..sharing your jokes and cooking..cepting he'd pass ya a stogie..Yikes.. but he does them outside thank gawd !!!!!!... So, I'm a gonna sit a backa and relax this weekend..and listen to "Opera" and enjoy...and of course I'll stroll through the forum and see what's up doc !!!!

Mmmmmm Fernie...good to see ya got your computer cleared and now are able to join in... I can't wait till you get back in TN and I just know them Sisters are gonna be in for a good GTG.. You do muster up a good one...you have so many of the gals in your area too..

LOL and good to hear you and DH went out and to a club no less...my, my.. and you let that go by us..or you thought you did !!! Bethers you all know went out and did her thang..yeah she put a few a way and uh hum..Sang a tune..LOL ooooh I bet it was a good one... but ya know... when you go to those Karaoke places..you can not, not have a good time... yeah I'd have to be 3 sheets to the wind to get up and sing too LOL but it's good you shook it loose..which is something we all need to do every once in a while !!!

Ava....dear Ava... LOL you is a worry wart !! but we need you ...ifn' your frig goes off...wouldn't your power also..I mean if it's on electric..mine automatically switches to battery..back up.. but hey.. if your refrig stops working..oooooh I'm sure other things would go bad as well.. cold enough..mmmm lets see.. I only had that problem long time ago..where's the wood .. just in case.. but a good thing about the ice cube trick....however, I'm not sure we all pay attention to that.. now you are giving us Food for Thought !! ... You is good woman Let's see what replies you get ...??????

I did a search and on my Name..and you know what... I'm the most wanted person in all the states..well just a bout... LOL... I'm only on my second cup of coffee but my little brain is waking up nicely.
Yea, I know I'm a worry wart, can't help it, I've lived under Murpheys roof
too long over the years, and just about the time I think I've got Murphey
stuck real good on the bottom of my shoe he shows up.
Ok, more routine saturday stuff today, laundry and cleaning, little morning
yardwork. Its actually gonna be a little nicer cause I did the kitchen yesterday
and won't have to do that chore. But I did pick up a shower curtain, rod and
hangers yesterday so I plan on taking out the accordion style one. Gonna
clean the bathroom really good, including my pocket hanger, those pockets
are getting a little dirty and while I'm at it, I'll be moving it to the wall behind
the commode.
Time for a coffee refill, catch ya later.

Good Morning! Here I set with the first cup of coffee gone and I am about to go get the second. I am home alone this morning and really enjoying the quiet. Hannah is spending time with my sister and the guys have gone to run some errands. We are going campground scouting today (part of my bday present). Plus I need to do some school shopping for the kids so I may sneak a little of that in. Ok I am ready for my next cup. Have a great day all!!!!

Geez, I just rolled out of the sack at 8:30am.....slept in this morning.....Ernie's off mowing lawns, usually doesn't mow of SAT. , but because it rained 2 days this last week, he's catching up...should be home around Noon......another reason I slept late was that I was up late.... Was all stressed out over my early evening run to the ER with my DIL and Granddaughter.....They came to the campground for a visit and to have supper with us.....we were visiting with Ernie's Aunt and Uncle and poor little Ava suddenly spiked a high temp. rolled her eyes, and generally became stiff.....well, we did the tylonal and cool bath thing and that didn't help, then she started throwing up, so off to the ER we went......well, here she had what they call a "Feveral Sezuire".....cause, was her 18mos. shot of MMR....she's doing fine now and is home with Mommy & Daddy (Daddy,our son, was up state to visit with HS buddies, so he'll be home sometime today.).....scared us though....the Dr. told us that it happens in about 5-15% of all babies when given those shots and can take 5-30 days to happen if it is going to happen......so Amy (DIL) was given a routine for giving tylonal every 4 hours for the next 3-5 days to Ava....we were assured she'd be fine......am waiting for an e-mail from her giving me the morning report on the baby.....

Well, got to go get some more coffee and get the day going....hope everyone has a wonderful day...

Oh Lori, how very scary for all of you! Man o man, but it sounds like you all did all of the right things and got her where she needed to be! I'll keep ya'll in my prayers cause babies shouldn't ever get hurt or sick like that!!!!

Lori, hope all is well and keep us updated. I also didn't get up until 8:30 so we must have been looking at the same morning sun. We pulled into Sabago Lake SP- northwest of Portland ME -yesterday afternoon and they only had spaces available for 1 or 2 nights. That's what we get for living the jello lifestyle. Beautiful lake and these northerners are already swimming this am. Lots of boats of all kinds. It's going to be a LAZY LAZY day. Yikes, coffee is gone,Have to go make another pot. Morning Ladies! I'm up late again today, with really nothing planned. Tommy is off helping some guys fix an air conditioner this morning so it's very quiet here. It's nice to see you've all been to coffee already and your days are in full swing.

Last night I wrapped up the finishing touches on Tommy's surprise retirement party. He didn't sign his papers until yesterday because the pension company didn't have his credited hours right. His work benefits rep has been diligently working to get things straightened out and finally, the word came through that he has enough hours to qualify.

His last day will be next Thursday, and although I hoped that would be the case, I couldn't plan the party until he was sure! I've been in full gear with the plans, and everyone was pretty much on alert so his friends are really stepping up on the spur of the moment.

He has never had a party. Not a birthday as a kid, or a special occasion honoring him in his whole life. I thought that was pretty sad. I'm determined to make this a night he will always remember and I'll try to get pics to share with you all. Friday we will begin setting up the MH to head north. We will be gone about a month this time so will need to pack and plan accordingly. We have a week to get it ready so can take our time and consider the absolute necessities, spacewise.

Lori, too bad about baby Ava. She was in good hands and I sure bet your DIL was glad you were there to help. A sick child can be a frightening thing! Keep us posted on her condition.

Well, I'm off to try to catch up on the other topics, although I bet Barbzeee's recap pretty much has it covered. Have a blessed day all.

Lori, reading about Ava scared the heck out of me. I'm so glad that she's ok, and will have her in my prayers!.

As to me and karaoke, I never, ever said I got up and sang. That did NOT happen. Even in my dreams it didn't happen LOL

Speaking of dreams, I usually don't. Or maybe I just don't remember them. So if I was gonna have weird dreams, you'd have thought it would have been Thursday night after the little nip I took, but nope, slept fine Thursday night. However last night, I dreamt all night - some were close to nightmares. Very strange. In one, someone confessed to me that they had murdered people years previous and I turned the person in and was scared he'd come after me.

Anyways, where that came from, I have no idea - not from any movie I've watched lately. I'm reading a Dick Francis book, and those are mysteries, but nothing in it to bring that on. Must have just been my brain needed to have some strange thoughts LOL I need to have a talk with myself and leave these dreams elsewhere.

Update on Ava....she's doing alot better today....talked with her mommy this afternoon, but for running a low grade temp., she's good.....Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers.....love you guys...

Lori, thanks for letting us know little Ava is doing well. I use to work in pediatrics and know how quickly babies can get really sick and in danger; and just as quickly bounce back! Will continue to pray for a complete recovery. Hugs..
