Well I am excited! As you know my friends and I try to take a trip every year. It doesn’t always work out but we have made plans for this summer. We’re going to Gary SD which has a population of about 225. It is the home of Buffalo Ridge Resort http://www.buffaloridgeresort.com which is the old SD School for the Blind which has been completely renovated after sitting empty for decades. Looks really cool! We have rented the bunkhouse. There is a hotel, restaurant, lounge, campground, lake, etc. It’s really an interesting website….check it out. Our main plan is to go to Watertown SD to the Terry Redlin Art Center http://www.redlinart.com/ . I’ve been there but the rest of the girls haven’t. The time I was there it was close to closing so I didn’t get to wander as much as I would have like. Other than that and touring the Buffalo Ridge facility we don’t have big plans….maybe just sit around Lake Elsie!

Sounds awesome. I could probably spend days just looking at Redlin's work.

One of my coworkers grew up in Watertown. Her family still farms there. Sounds like a fun trip!

Barbie, Gary is only about 170 miles from the cities....you might want to put it on your bucket list!

Took three grandkids, ages almost 6, just turned 7, and almost 9, to the Cleveland Zoo today. We spent 4.5 hours walking around. My hardest tasks were keeping all three kids in sight and preventing them from doing dumb kid things like climbing rocks and poking one another. Whew! Talk about being outnumbered! I will have to say that they wore out and wanted to go home sooner than I did, but I am paying the price this evening with sore muscles and aches in "places I didn't know I had," as the saying goes.

So, I am back home, finally relaxing, and getting ready to get up for something for the aches and pains. I have to move from a full-hookup campsite tomorrow morning to one with electric only, so after I got home I had to fill water tank and dump black and grey water. Tomorrow, after I switch sites in the early morning, I go back to watch them all day tomorrow, since their mother is away on business trip and the nanny they hired for the summer does not start until Friday. Dad works from home, but cannot do that with three kids underfoot and constantly wanting attention.

Son does admit he and his wife made a strategic mistake in having three kids in 37 months! I could have told him that before Kid #3, had they asked!

Body is still recovering from yesterday at the zoo. I had to pack up, dump tanks, and switch campsites early this morning, and you know how I do not like early! Then I drove to their house with my rental car and sat and watched TV while kids played and fought. Then after my son finished his work day, we drove to Home Depot and I got them to cut up an 8 foot long 2x10 into four two-foot sections to replace the old broken ones I use under my tires to level my motorhomes. Brought oldest boy home with me, let him play on playground, got him showered, and bakes cookies. You can tell I am going downhill when I buy the ones in the grocery store refrigerator case! McDonalds was dinner.

Funny story--this kid is the comedian in the family. So at age 8, he is doing one of his acts with funny sayings, one of which is "If this is puberty, I don't want it." I told him he had a VERY long time to go to puberty! I am certain he doesn't even know what it is. He wants privacy to shower, but then runs around naked afterwards! Tomorrow I have next oldest planning on an overnight: a girl aged 7. She will be my hyperactive challenge. Last night will be 5 year old girl, who is much easier. Whew. I need a few days off.

Posting is going to be interesting, here. Just told you all about my journey from Napa and lost it  Was hopeful for the WiFi, but not so sure. I did make it to Keystone and great to see Beth and other friends, here, and along the way. I'll try to post later. Got stuff to do, before work!

Linda, I'm doing my posts on the Wi-Fi here. It's doable. Sometimes a gamble, but I think I've only lost one.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up re: Kathleen (Dayspring). O'sharon messaged me that she and carolb have been concerned because Kathleen hasn't been on the forum lately. So I called Kathleen and she said the insurance company has still not ok'd the treatment for her pain and her doctor has her on strong pain medicine so she just doesn't feel up to being on here right now. I just thought you would want to know how she's doing, too.
