I'm up but determined to accomplish something before I get glued here. Yesterday I never got dressed until late afternoon, I showered and put on a fresh set of jammies. So far I exercised on Wii for 30 minutes and cleaned the kitchen...now after checking in here I'm heading outside to do some yard work today. See you later!

I slept late this a.m. so i was running behind,... got to school on time... whew! It's now second hour and life is settling in ok.

Sunny but chilly here, but one day closer to the real warm weather.

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!

It's Tuesday and still to close to Monday. Much rather it was Thursday and Friday would even be better! LOL

By time Kelly and I got done with work and home neither one of us felt like doing anything! We were lazy bum and just sat and chilled. Ahhh
But I still want our stuff out of here and in the storage room by Friday. The very last of it will be bathroom stuff and kitchen stuff. The only stuff that wont go into the store room are essentials, clothing and shower stuff. I really don't have that much left in my bedroom. It's mostly picking up and cleaning out a few drawers in my dresser. I will be so glad when it's over and done with. The thought of never having to do this on this scope???? Will be cause for great rejoicing!!! WooooHoooo

For whatever reason we found late yesterday that our one supervisor has been fired. Have no idea why??? One of the girls that sits close to her desk said the sup came in set her purse down, got a soda out of the machine then went back to her desk. When she got there the dept supervisor told her to grab her purse and come talk with him. They went out the door, they were out there for a few minutes, he was the only one that came back in carrying and had her key card for the doors. Any thing that was hers on her desk still laid there. The had the other girl clean out her desk and pack it up then the head sup took it outside. That's how they do it up there, no warning, no nothing. They either tell you to come to the front office if your in the other building then escort you out front. Or if your in our building they take you outside. Either way they pick up your stuff and clean out your desk. I feel really badly for her. Kelly has her email addy so will be checking on her.

Coffe is done, oh my smell that aroma! Tea kettle is screaming, go to get that sucker off the burner. Carrot muffins and bagals with cream cheese are waiting. Oh and Barbz went and got some Biscotti and left it on the table, for the addicts, ya know.

Ok, other than that nothing exciting going on here in my corner of the world. But I need to get off here and get my butt around. Need to check my email and get my comic fix of course.

While driving home from the coast I had set my Garmin to avoid major highways so we were driving on some backroads that Carole couldn't even find on the map. Well, Golly Garmin kept saying she was shutting down for lack of power. I would jiggle the thingy plugged into the 12v plug like a mad woman and it would come back on. Chris, my RV guy, checked it (the rig plug) yesterday and found a bad fuse. Who knew it even had a fuse.

Its sprinkling here today. I'm still getting stuff ready to leave Sat morning for Silver City. Need to get some of my winter clothes out of my storage unit as the temp this morning there was 29.

Good Morning, Ladies

I'm up but not getting far this AM, still absorbing coffee and staring at a to do list.

News says today may be our last day of pretty weather for a while. Rain to start tonight. Those storms in the midwest are also headed this way, up to 4 inches of rain Friday/Saturday and potential for severe storms/tornados. Warning all to be sure their weather radios have fresh batteries and issuing reminders of precautions for such weather. One down side of spring around here is you have to be ready to duck every now and then.

Morning all! It is not snowing and it is not raining for once. I am going a few doors (acres LOL) down the lake where I am staying to visit a lady I met out walking a few weeks ago. She works at a 'retreat' run by nuns in a beautiful setting above the lake and we are to tour the facility and chapel today. There is a bakery run by the monastery (Benedictine) next door so may buy some fresh-baked bread...

Of course, I should be vacuuming instead...

GOOD AFTERNOON, ALL!

Cool day here in the north country again. But I did drive in the driveway....had to spend a long time in boots mashing down the ruts, but I am in here! Temps to go way below freezing again tonight, so will have no problem getting out again tomorrow. This may be the last drive in for me, so have loaded most of my stuff in the truck. It will still be a haul to get the cat, Molly, my overnight bag, my regular 'purse' if you can call it a purse, meds, Molly dishes and food, cat supplies for boarding, and who-knows-what-else out to the truck on Friday morning! In the dark, to boot!

Have to go online and pay some bills now, and then eat. Hope you all had a fun day!

Yeah, me, too...I try and get up by the crack o' noon every day! Just kidding. Menopause has made me a VERY early riser - say between 3:00 and 5:00 most days! Thank you, God, for your incredible sense of humor!

One note on who starts the coffee- when Barbzeee is in her kitchen, she starts the coffee. When she lets us know she won't be (like now, indefinitely) - then yep, the first one in - please DO start the coffee. Those of us who like to sleep in need something to read when we get up

Yep, yep, yep it's Barbz kitchen! Just leave a mess and you'll find out! She'll be be after ya for not picking up after yourself.

We only get to run around and play in the kitchen when Barbz takes a break.

But if'n your up early while she's taking a break? Go for it!!!
