Good morning and may your day be an awesome day. The private chef is here. Order whatever you want this morning. All calories are negotible. After this weekends Marietta, Ohio, shows, Audrey's sister now has two more points towards her GrandChampionship for a total of 23 of her needed 25. One more weekend to go. But till then a few more days of work. Off to find the car. I left it in the back of the house somewhere..... :)

Good Morning Tina and all,

Congrats on the added points for Audrey's sister. Hopefully this weekend. Take it you found the car and are off to work

I slept in would you believe. Miss Molly woke me up a couple times during the night to go out, but once she's out, the bugs fascinate her and she forgets why she's out. So when we had our usual wake up time, put her out and went back to bed for two hours

Thanks for starting coffee yesterday Jane, thanks for the tea Kathleen, hope your insurance comes through pretty soon. Kathy, sounds like you are getting the hang of things, Cheryl I believe is off on her median voyage, lots of purging of clothes etc. going on. CArol and Sarah sound like they both overdid a bit but got a lot done. I finished up my little door project yesterday so am done in trailer for now. Tomorrow we have a big chill down into mid 40's

Time to go find the bank and get some green so I can go to store and spend it

Wore out from cleaning up he motorhome and putting things back in their places yesterday. Did two loads of laundry and have two more today. The convertible dinette made a lot of work as when I travel alone I end up using the underneath space for storage, so everything had to be put someplace else. Plus I had all my tools and little spare parts spread among several underneath storage areas, so had to reorganize. Now everything is in one place in a plastic bin in right rear compartment. So, only two more loads of laundry and then take the rental car back today, plus finish grading papers by tonight.

Will head to Michigan tomorrow morning, with a Blue Beacon RV wash on the way--very badly needed. Looking forward to being "home" for a few days and seeing friends. Also, really looking forward to allergist appointment. Florida really messed up my asthma and been coughing a lot last couple of months. Got to pick up a few things in Michigan I can't get elsewhere, so just going to be enjoying myself there.

Good morning ladies,
Coolish here this morning, but supposed to go into the upper 70's today. Have a few errands to run, something to return to Menard's (and get the right stuff this time!) then 3 dogs to walk.

Really need to work with my Cody on loading into the trailer, she's a real pita about it. So will hook up trailer to Pony and pull it into front yard where I have space. Previously I just left her(trailer) in the driveway but now that we blacktopped it last year, not good for horses.

Ha Ha, thought I was de-winterizing everything in AG--NOT! Yesterday I found the water heater bypass! It's under the couch which doesn't lift up completely so we couldn't determine whether or not it was on bypass or normal setting. There must be a way to lift this couch up better or else how in the heck do you work on all the things that are under there? I think I'll have to ask O'Sharon if hers is like this. Anyway, this morning I got a Brilliant Idea! Use my cell phone camera on reverse so I could see what I was taking a pic of and then blow it up on my phone! TADAAAA! Selfie of bypass valve!

Something bit me on the back of my arm yesterday and it's blown up to a huge welt. I showed it to DH and he said it wasn't like that when we got up in the morning. I have no recollection of feeling any bite so I'm not sure what it was. Doesn't itch, just kind of swollen up and tender. I'm keeping an eye on it for now.

We went to Sam's Club yesterday and got the biggest blueberry muffins I've ever seen for breakfast today; so big I had trouble eating all of one! There's plenty left come help yourself.

Take care all,
Kathy

Here we go again - temps dropping to freezing overnight and chance of 3-6 inches of snow for Tuesday. Another inch possible Wed. Tomorrow's high isn't even supposed to reach 40! But if it gets to the upper 30's, the snow should had least melt as fast as it comes down. But I will take this over the tornados elsewhere. Hope everyone stays safe.

Now, where's summer? OK, where's spring lol?

It's not morning here but just saw Kathy's post. Good thinking about taking a photo! I started doing that so I could show whoever needed to know what I was talking about! Thingamajig just doesn't work all the time when I trying to explain! So a pic usually works! Do it around the house for things too! As far as lifting the bed and working In the tight space, I found a piece of wood that I use as a brace so I have both hands and am not trying to balance it on my head! I just leave it in the RV. It's a tight space and not very well thought out but that's how I solved it! If anyone has a better solution I'm all ears! :D

Warm and humid here today. Thunderstorms later today, they say. I need to finish a couple of loads of laundry and then head out to find a new blind for my bathroom. It's an even size and I can't remember where I got the last one so will need to start a new hunt!

Hope everyone is having a good day. Sue and Kermit about ready to head out on their adventures! Only a few more days! Beth, sounds like things are starting to settle into a routine for you. Carolb and I met some nice work campers last week. Really makes it a nicer visit, I'm sure. Again, have a good day and be safe if you are on the road. (Beth, more snow??? Maybe it's the new springtime in the Dakotas?? :) )

I was going to send this privately to Judy, but decided others may benefit.
When I was 40, I had endured years of sinus infections and illness, on antibiotics at least twice to three times a year. Another "cold" at age 40 and I awoke in middle of the night short of breath and wheezing. Off to allergy Dr the next morning. He tested and said you have asthma. I said I've not had it before, and he said, you do now. Speed ahead to age 65, winter of 2013/14. I got sick in December and remained coughing and having to use steroid inhaler and ventolin daily. By this time I count 25 years as an asthmatic and most of the time on steroid inhalers and ventolin daily. I was so sick and tired of being sick and tired. Mel was having hyperbaric treatment daily and I needed to wait for an appointment with my long ago allergist. But I was so fed up with constant cough and tightness. I went online , out of desperation, and typed in "how I cured my asthma". Where I came up with that, no clue. I found this site:
http://jdmoyer.com/2010/07/17/how-i-cur ... le-change/
I read the whole page several times. I sifted through and decided I had nothing to lose so picked two supplements to try off his list of stuff he had tried. I chose Evening Primrose capsules and MSM tablets. Went to a local health food store picked up both and began taking them. At first I did not feel much of anything, but I persisted. Went to the allergist and he set me up for breathing testing. By the time I tested I had been on Evening Primrose and MSM for about 4 weeks. After testing the Dr saw me and said, you don't have asthma, your lungs have normal capacity, then he said, stop the steroid inhaler and only use ventolin as needed. I was scared, what if my breathing gets much worse. He agreed to test me again after a week off meds. I went home and that night did not take inhaler, nor the rest of the weekend. Much to my surprise, nothing dire happened. I was still coughing some from the Dec cold, but my breathing was fine. It's now been a year. My Peak Flow has tested much of the time higher than in decades. I use ventolin once in a while if a little tight. PF of 350 used to be good, now I have tested over 500 somedays. I have continued the Evening Primrose and MSM and have not had a cold in a year, possible because my lungs no longer grab every bug that wanders by. Is my solution , your solution? Maybe not, but I encourage anyone with asthma to explore options and don't take for granted that you can not be better than you are now.

Good to know, Velda! I think there are sometimes better homeopathic alternatives to regular meds. Always worth a try!

Cold, cold, and cold. And very windy! Only 42 today with windchills in the upper 20's! What month is this again??? Golf league was cancelled tonight due to the cold, for second week in a row! Hopefully we won't get Beth's snow!!

Went to look at the popup trailer that RitaMC has for sale. It is in really good shape for a '94. I just have to figure out if I can afford it right now. Stopped at Camping World and Walmart up that way to get decorating ideas, etc. and see what other accessories I would need for it. Rita and her husband are both very nice people!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Thanks, Velda. I will check those out. It may not be my solution, but is worth checking out.

What has happened to me in the past year is that I get a cold and a sore throat. Then I start coughing. The sore throat and other cold symptoms go away, but the cough remains for months. That happened to me early last July and then again about two months ago. I don't think I have really had a sinus infection in the past couple of years, although I have had those in the past. I think my lungs are just really irritated. The interesting thing is that the last urgent care center put me on prednisone for 6 days, and that really, really helped my cough.

I think the meds I take have pretty much got my allergies under control except for an occasional bout, but the new thing is how strongly I am reacting to insect bites. I had several huge red welts this past winter in Florida. And they take forever to go away, so I want to talk to the allergist about those also. I was downing Benadryl and using creams like crazy in March and April.

We had such a nice visit with Barbie. She is exactly like she comes across on the forum..very nice and a fun person to chat with. We shared travel story laughs. I have not met a forum member before and it was funny...as soon as she got out of her car I felt we knew each other. We have an 8ft Coleman Taos pop up that we haven't used for about 6 years. Friends borrowed it several years ago and went to Michigan with it and a family member has used it 4-5 times camping close to Clearwater. But things are made to be used and we have the Shasta and the Micro-lite and at our age we like the convenience of the trailers so decided to sell it. When we decided to sell I let Barbie know first before we actually put it on the market. We'll wait for her decision before advertising it. It's one step up from tent camping. What a day to look at a camper. Bbrrrr 45 degrees and a stiff wind. With all the rain the grass and dandelions are about a foot tall and we haven't didn't get the lawn mowed last weekend. The place looks like we should rent a couple of goats. Breezie has been keeping a close eye on us ever since we set the pop up up. she loves to travel and gets concerned she might get forgotten so even on a chilly day on which she would normally not want to go outside she follows close behind us as we go out. I think she secretly has a suitcase paced.
