Morning Donna and all,

I hate it when it gets too hot to enjoy doing things we like. Looks like time to head north. At least here in MI, I have places I can go and be near the cooler waters of the big lakes. Could use a little of that warm air here though. But not 60's by next week again. Weather Channel says worst severe weather of season to hit from TX into plains and southeast today and tomorrow.

Heading to town here in a bit. Time for a restock. Been eating out freezer, so need to buy. Then back home and maybe do some yard work. Need to take some measurements in TT cupboards for possible project. So you all have a nice day today, stay safe is storms around, enjoy travels if on road ;)

Good morning, Donna and all to follow. Woke up to sunshine this morning!! Still going to be on the cooler side and windy but nice to see rhe sun. Donna, you need to hurry north or you're going miss all the cold!!! Hope you can make it to the art show tomorrow.

Not sure what I'll get into today! Maybe the wind today will dry out the yard cause it sure looks like I could mow it! That or hire a goat! Amazing how much its grown in the last few days. And I really want to finish up the clean up of the flower beds.

I talked to my rv guy the other night and set up a date to get Lola dewinterized and checked out. I went out the other afternoon and heard something coming from her, turns out the propane alarm was going off. Didn't know that when the batteries were low it could set off the alarm. I hadn't plugged her in since I got the new batteries put in so now she's plugged in so I need to go out today and check it out. The gas was on since I was checking the refrigerator so turned it off until I find out for sure it was the batteries. Live and learn! Someday I'll figure this all out!

Needto get busy but coffee is on. Help yourself! Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning.
Enjoyed catching up on your blog, Donna.
It is a deceptively beautiful morning here - clear blue sky and sunny. More severe weather on its way starting tonight - damaging winds, large hail, flash flooding all in the forecast. At least chance for tornados still listed as relatively low. I need to blow the driveway and do a few errands while it is still pretty out, then hunker down until Sunday.
I've been in a funk these past few weeks and not really accomplishing anything. Finally managed to do a little better yesterday, even got some flowers potted for the back porch. Am trying to come up with a better arrangement for the porch and add a little color out there.
Wishing you a fun and safe day.

Donna, I feel for you in the heat. I just cannot tolerate the dripping humidity and heat, which is why I bailed out of Florida last week. I found myself not going outside because I could not stand it and finally decided there was no sense being there. Much nicer here in northern Georgia, although I am taking it slow heading north because Michigan and Ohio are still a bit chilly for me. Right now, it is perfect here--highs in low 70s and chilly nights so I can sleep well. Had some rain, but sunny now.

Nice to have been taking it easy the last few days, especially since I have such a scenic place to stay. Having lots of internet has also meant I am starting to do research so I can plan my trip back west next October and November. I have a ton of printed material I ordered on the Great River Road, so working through it and looking for campgrounds online. When my internet was so limited, it made doing that very difficult. So far, I have reservations in a state part west of St. Louis for three days, and now need to plan heading south from there. I know I over-plan, but I enjoy that as much as the traveling.

I was able to clean out my pantry yesterday, which felt good. Tossed out some old stuff and stuff I will never eat. Got work to do, so I better get busy.

OS, your fridge, even on propane, pulls from the batteries, also. Remember, you don't want to let the batteries drain below 50% - they'll start draining faster and faster then. When you winterize, you should probably disconnect them, then when you reconnect, make sure you charge them before using them - just for the hopefully little bit they lose when sitting even disconnected.
