Yesterday I was driving on Hwy 58 between Tehachapi and Bakersfield, on my way from Las Vegas to San Francisco. I saw a sign for the Cesar Chavez National Monument in the very small town of Keene. I got off the highway to explore and was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea this was there, and it was very interesting. Coincidentally, tomorrow is the anniversary of the 1993 death of Cesar Chavez. I took photos and will write about it on my blog, which I hope to update in the next few days. perpetualmotionrv.blogspot.com
