Morning Donna and all,

Getting sunny here, but at least it's nice and cool. In 30's but heading to mid 60's. Am just relaxing this morning as will be driving neighbor to airport to fly out to spend 10 days with son and wife in CO. Airport is in Traverse City which is an hour away and some construction going on ther as well. So will be leaving late morning. Plan to go to Pet Smart and possibly AAA after I drop her off.

Brought Miss Molly home yesterday. Doing great. One big ball of energy. She's on no running, no jumping restrictions as well as not getting overly rambunctious for next 10 days. Yeah, like how do you explain that to a 6 month old pup   I'm going to have my hands full keeping her in line. We can however go for walks.

Worked on my sewer hose project yesterday. It's mounted on bumper now. Will finish it up this weekend.

Donna, sure hope you get off to PA. I like you have things to do before I hit the road in 5 weeks. Picking up things slow but sure. Colder weather coming in late next week, so won't be doing much in TT. O'Sharon, you are getting hitch itch I can see. Want to come west with me, ;)

Of to take a bath here, so you all have a great day :)

Good morning everyone. It's a nice morning here with blue skies and warm temps. A few more days here and then I will be heading for the Bay area to visit more family. I'm anxious to hit the road again but have to wait until RV damage from gate is repaired. It should be ready on Saturday - yea!

Glad Miss Molly is doing well. How in the world do you keep a puppy from jumping around?!?

Have a great day everyone. I sure enjoy checking in here most mornings and seeing what others are doing.

Morning ladies,

Glad to see all of you this morning. Got some not so good news about my Mother's estate yesterday and I wasn't fit company for the devil! It just grinds my gears that he's getting away with this crap and there's not much I can do about it.

Was foggy here, too, Donna, but now the skies have cleared. Will be heading out in a little while to the grocery store and bank. Have already gone out and fed and cleaned stalls for a client's horses, done my own and now it's off on my day.

DH wants me to look into a pension he is supposed to get from a company he worked for years ago. He would like to start taking it next year as he turns 62, before the money in the fund runs out. That will be my project for this afternoon along with looking into 2 insurance policies from my Mother that I apparently am a beneficiary on.

Sue, glad Molly is feeling so fine but it sure is hard to keep 'em quiet, isn't it? I know when mine were neutered sometimes I needed to put them in their kennel to help keep them quiet.

Donna, hope you get things squared away and head out for PA. Sounds like the weather's no fun in FL.

Judi, glad your RV damage is scheduled for so quick, I hate having to wait to get something done. Hopefully your insurance company will go after the park owner and make him reimburse you.

Not much more to report, everyone have a good day and stay safe wherever you are

Good Morning, Everyone !!! Its been raining here ever since I arrived  But the plumber, Bless him came yesterday and worked a couple of hours on getting my leaks all fixed, had a few :o :D So after a yr and half, I have water !!!! Also have dishes, laundry and lots of scrubbing to do with said water   First sweeping cobwebs all down, tired of walking into them. Haven't found the guilty spiders yet in sweeping and so glad not in walking into them either :)

Donna, I'm so glad to see you have a date to look forward to, for your travels north. Summer down there is not fun, so I'm hoping you can be gone at least July and August, Sept. would be nice to be gone in too. Wishing you the best, hoping all works where you get out of there for some time with your family. Ginger, I'm sorry your bad times continue, Judi, sorry about the booboo, thinking I might be a wee ticked if in your shoes, Judy, a raccoon hitching a ride or making your home her home, is not good !!! Glad she didn't quarrel with you about not sharing your home. Sue, glad to hear Molly is doing good, good luck keeping her quieted down :) Best news, is Kathleen getting to go visit family in Michigan, safe travels Kathleen and hoping you feel well enough to enjoy every minute !!!

Need to get onto more scrubbing here, a couple of phone calls to make too, see if my new washer still works and very old dryer, sure need them  found I have a new mop in kitchen, thinking I need to use that too. well instead of talking about it all, need to shut up here and get to it.

Have a great day everyone,

CArol :)

Nice sunny Friday here. Warm again but storms rolling in this weekend and then a cool down for next week.

Yesterday would have been a perfect day to take out my new kayak since the temps were in the mid 70's with no wind and the lake was like glass, but didn't happen. Got off work at 3:30 and had a splitting headache, so stopped home to take a short nap before heading to my dads to get his meds straightened out. Woke up from my nap 3 hours later! Went to my dads and then back home. By that time the sun was setting. I have tomorrow off, so will see if it is nice enough in the morning to go out before storms roll in later in the day.

The stereo system in my car hasn't worked good for over a year now and the sound goes off whenever I turn left or hit a bump (which is shortly after I pull out of my garage!). Found a used on on-line the other day and got it yesterday, so will have my friend Steve hook it up for me. Nothing like driving in silence all the time! Will be nice to be able to play some tunes again!

Better get going here. Have a great day! :D

Donna, if Florida gets the rain we got yesterday it will be a lot. We have had well over a foot of rain in the last week. We have 100% chance of rain today and tomorrow. :( I am so tired of rain and everything is wet and muddy. Yesterday I had to wade to get to the barn so my sandals are wet. I have some rubber boots around here somewhere. My rubber shoes are in the camper and it's in the shop.

The RV shop has already called this morning and they have fixed 2 of my problems. Had a wire that was burning the insulation off. Not good. I hope if they finish it today it's not too late for me to pick up. I don't like to look out and not see my motorhome.

I ran the Roomba this morning. I still can't get over how much cat hair it picks up. It didn't run while I was gone and I had to empty it 3 times.

CArol, I know you are happy to finally have water. It's hard to clean without it.

Just read yesterdays MC about Judy's raccoon. I had a pet raccoon when I was a teenager. Molly was so adorable and fun (and mischevious!). Had her for about a year before she started getting a bit too wild for me to handle and we found a new home for her.
This was Molly shortly after I got her as a baby from a neighbor who found her and her siblings abandoned by mom.

I think she is the reason I love ferrets because they are so similar in behavior and personality.
