Projects Tuesday

G'Morning,

Rain has moved on here. Sunshine for rest of week with exception of maybe few sowers on Thursday. So today will be start of projects. Got the 5 inch fence post and gutter to slide inside yesterday. So today will go get some bollts etc. now that I have made sure it will all work and how I want to install it. Also want to get new spark plugs for lawn tractor before starting up for another season. So will be busy day. And will take Molly for nice walk and training session. Tomorrow she goes to the doggie hospital for that little "operation"' so I will be dogless for about 24 hours. And she will have a sore tummy area for a few days :D The little lake in the sub here is opening up as ice melts. So Molly got her first look at a lake and she did some wading. Also got her first look at Canada geese swimming by. Sat down and watched them. Those are "big birds" she says  They weren't fazed by her.

Anita, sounds like you are going to be busy for a bit, gotta get that done so you can go "play". Kathleen, hope you have a nice trip to MI. be a nice change of scenery. Beth, glad you made it to Keystone safely and will soon be settled in. I'll be in contact with you a bit later. Haven't picked out a campground out that way as yet. What store are you working at?

Time to get moving here. Have a nice day.

Now, why am I not surprised that you have projects, Sue ;) You and Ava are quite the workhorses! Always a concern when our babies need their surgeries, so will be thinking of you and Mollie tmrw...

Anita, such a nice granny! Bet your daughter is a bit miffed, cuz I imagine a SS is on g'son's Cmas list! Martha, glad you had a good time with Texans. Were I not on a schedule, I would have stayed for that...

Kathleen, have a good time in MI, hope you can manage your pain. Kathy, a gtg with yourself sounds like a good idea after all you've been thru lately. Cheryl, happy hitching! Beth, glad to hear you landed safely in Keystone:)

Pups and i had a great day in Atlanic City. Guess it's not their tourist season yet, we had the beach and boardwalk to ourselves!

Oh Kathy! That doesn't sound good! Hope things have improved for you since this morning!

A beautiful day here today! Been running around all day. Dropped off my 2 huge bags of clothes at the Good Will and then got my car washed. Went to the city center to get a new State Parks sticker for the season and get my kayak registered. I took the wrong paperwork with for the kayak, so had to go back home, find the original bill of sale and hull # and go back, only to find out they only accept cash or checks (small office) so had to go find a WF ATM for cash, and then go back to the DMV. They told me I don't need to register a kayak that is 10' or less. This one says 10' on the receipt but is actually 10' 4", so being that I live right next door to the Water Patrol headquarters, I figured I better not take any chances that they might have a tape measure on their boats, and went ahead with the registration.

Still have lots to do around my apartment but will get to some more of it soon. Just taking a break.

Last night we had our golf league meeting and then a bunch of us went to a nearby little town and had burgers at a bar there ($2 burger night!). Right outside the door was parked a black SlingShot! Some people were taking pics or getting pics taken of them sitting in it, and then later, the owner was giving rides in it. It sure draws a lot of attention! I like Anita's red one better than the black one tho. Much classier looking IMO!

I also signed up for a camping trip with a Meet-up group (same one I was supposed to camp with last year) and this one will be the first weekend in June in southern Minnesota. There are Mystery Caves there and an old town turned into a tourist area (all part of the State Park). It is also Amish country down there so that will be interesting too. Should be a fun trip! So far, about 18 signed up to go. They reserved a group site so it is only $25 for the weekend (3 nights) per person.

Sue, do you know yet when you will be traveling thru LaCrosse WI/southern MN?

Hope you are all having a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
