G'morning all :)

One wedding down, one to go...all went well. I remembered your advice, BJ, & kept as much distance as possible from my sisters! But had a great time seeing bro again, & of course, the bride & groom. Really fun wedding, starting with a cocktail hour--with the bride, groom & wedding party--before the ceremony, which all took place in the same "reception" room. Never been to a wedding where I could drink wine during the ceremony  Oops, we sound like a bunch of alkies

So Catherine, do I need to get back there to help you rake leaves ;) Great to hear that spring is finally arriving, pollen & all--thinking of you Sarah ;) Kathleen, did you ever get your shots--pain med not doing it's thing? Hope you're feeling better soon! AND I strayed from MC this a.m. Happy birthday Anita!

In NJ now, heading to Atlantic City for the day. Looking forward to seeing the "new" boardwalk, tho I never saw the old one. Will play around the DelMarVa area til I think it's warm enough to go home!

Y'all have a great day & be safe always 8-)

It was supposed to rain this morning, but I'm seeing sunlight and hearing birdsong! Hurrah!

Good thing, too. I'm driving about three hours to look at some property for my 'sister'. Always much better driving in the sun -- to say nothing of looking at cottages!

Mornin' Carol, Lousie & all that follow ~~~ and Sarah - sorry I missed you on yesterday's MC

Sporadic T-storms here this AM. Should be over by noon or so. At least no major storms predicted this week. Last week was enough for me for the entire summer.

Day 2 of hitching was 70 % better. Got the Blue Ox connected on both sides on the first try with no problem. The emergency brake fix held so happy about that. The backing up . . . that's another story. I can back up straight without a problem, but still having problems with the backing up from a turn. :? but a little sinks in each time so hopefully by May 1 for trip back to dealer I'll be better. Sure hope so, or else I'm not camping at Shabbona SP!

Have a good day everyone and if you're on the road, stay safe.

Good Morning Carolb, Louise and all,

Carol, thanks for starting coffee this morning. Give my brain time to wake up  Glad to hear you had a wonderful time at the wedding. Have fun along the Jersey coast too. One of these days, I expect to hear that a For Sale sign is going up in front of your place and you will be wandering the country full time :)
Louise, pack that umbrella. It's cloudy up here and going to rain before long.

Will be a good day to get some business thing done around here after two days of beautiful sunshine and not wanting to be in the house. Got my TT uncovered yesterday, holes in cover repaired. One was from last year that I had forgotten about till after I had the cover on, one I think was a chew hole and a few others are wear spots. Put away for the summer now. Let TT air out for the day again. Also fooled around with my new iBall hitch camera. Practice makes perfect as they say. Not practicing too hard right now  Want to make a PVC sewer hose storage thing for my sewer hose and get it out of my bumper. Not good for bumpers as we know. Rust from inside out. Saw a neat project on RVNet forum yesterday. Made from a 5 inch PVC fence post and then put a vinyl gutter inside to set the hose in and just slide in side. How neat is that. http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fusea ... t/true.cfm. So, off to Lowes this morning.

Hope you all have a nice day today. Sarah, hope rain comes and gets rid of pollen for you. Anita, hopw you had a wonderful Birthday yesterday and that this next year is all you hope it to be.

Drizzly here also... sure looks like we will have leaves on the trees soon... I got my flowering trees delivered Sat... they are tiny! will take at least 5 or 6 years to become anything... got them from Arbor Day Foundation... wanted to help keep our earth breathing! for every one you get they replant some in needed areas... now to put them in some dirt... will plant them for good later...
No Carolb have not gotten the approval for the injections so it will be after I go to Mi before I get them... Margie and I leave Thursday and will come back Sun or Mon...
Started the day with coffee and oxi codon... drug addict here... makes for a good pair!
Hope everyone has a good day...
Kathleen or Kathy

Hi all,
Waiting on attorney to call me back to see where we stand and what we do next. Hope he doesn't take too long as I have to leave soon for dogwalks.

Sun is out here now, makes you feel so much better. Looked at another MH over the weekend, actually made them an offer which they didn't accept, that's ok with me. I didn't really "love it". I feel like I should just put the whole looking for a mh on the back burner for a while and see if one comes to me. I've wasted too much time chansing frogs lately.

Sent out most of my taxes this a.m. all 6 envelopes! We had to file amended forms for 2012 and 2013 so that added to the number. And just when I thought I'd filed them all, I find 2 more that need signing and sending tomorrow. Somedays I feel like I'm drowning in paperwork.

Finally heard back from my client regarding whether or not she's going to need my services this weekend and it's yes, so I'll give my IC Karen a call that she's on duty (she's taken care of these horses many times) and I'm heading out of Dodge to go to my club. DH got the battery in Pony yesterday so she's all charged up and rarin' to go. I'm going to call my cousin and ask her if she'd like to go with, but I'm totally ok about going alone. It's like a gated community with security-you have to be a member to get in the gate.

That's all from here, everyone take care
Kathy

Good Morning,

Carolb, I had been waiting to hear a little about the wedding! Sounds like a good time and BJ gives good advice. :)

Cheryl, the hitching will come - I keep telling myself that about backing up the new trailer! Of course, if I'd find a place to try it without an audience, that would help. Sue, the iBall Camera is pretty neat - I watched LeRoy use his.

Kathleen, sorry you haven't had approval yet. Sounds like a fun trip to help take your mind somewhere else.

Kathy, rig shopping can either be fun or a pain. So much going on in your life!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. After 4 days of fun with family, yesterday was moving day (short drive) and do nothing. So far today is good - I slept until 10:30!! Sheila, family loved the SS!! I let grandson drive it around the RV park and he was thrilled and perfectly satisfied with the little drive at 5 mph. He then got to ride the 20 miles to his dad's with me.

I am here for 3 weeks and have a list a mile long of chores. Plan to get on the road with the SS some, too. Hills and curves!! Also, will begin walking and/or biking again. Too much eating out adds to already unwanted pounds!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!
Anita

I'm in Keystone. Will move tomorrow to my site for the summer. The city got confused and turned the wrong electric on today, so will get the electric there on tomorrow.

Peaches is so much fun watching when she remembers things/places. She headed straight for the creek. Unfortunately I mass her wait because my boss was at the store, so we went there first. After, she dragged me to the creek and splashed around happily.

Carolb, glad you made it to the wedding.

I got back tonight from a week in Texas. My sister and I had a good time. We found too many good restaurants so I'm afraid to get on the scale tomorrow. I haven't had to take Pepcid in a long time and I had to take one the last 3 days. I know I have been eating the wrong things.

I was afraid I would run into rain today but didn't. There was plenty of rain around Houston and South Louisiana. We got about 8 inches at home in the last 3 days. All the rivers and creeks are full. Down here the rice fields are running over.
