Here are the two phoenix designs I own. The first I have stitched up, several colors but doable. The second is more simple and less colors to stitch would be faster.

Thanks Nan. Of course, I like the top one better. However, I do like to keep things simple...therefore the bottom one. Is there anyway to make that Phoenix head Belles Head? This question from a NON-ARTIST. Could the Phoenix be in the color pink and the fire red? I believe we should listen to those who have been on the forum for years, really like Belle, and want to keep her. lyn

actually if you like the second one, I think if the bird is done in pink with red flames it would pass for a flamingo. The head is not that different. Pink would really change the look of it.

Nan, would YOU like it if done in pink or pinkish - dark pink? I love the idea of red flames? I don't think we're going for it looking like a flamingo as much as somehow incorporating both things - maybe impossible. But we are women, aren't we?

I like that bottom one. By the way ladies, decals can be removed with razor blades. Been there done that. And Goo Gone. Window Clings are neat too. And there's scotch tape and.....

What was decided, I love the Phoenix idea and would like something for the window.

My vote: if we are going with Nan's Phoenix, then the second design with the bird in pink. If we go with Judy's idea of a single feather then the second image, also in pink. But I really don't have a preference either way and will go with whatever the consensus is.

I vote for Nan's second image. One thing to keep in mind about color, I think, is that although a lot of you like pink, it's also a color that's used to signify breast cancer awareness. Judy's idea of a single feather is good too, but wonder if it could get lost in the Native American symbols as the Eagle Feather for instance is considered scared to them. Just some thoughts here.

Like them both.....but simple has its own strength and goodness about it. A big pink flying bird should confused too much with a pink ribbon. If there is a small carry over, that isn't so bad. To me it is more about opening up a potential conversation. We may get to answer the question, "What does that mean, WomenRV.com?"

When I get a few days to stop and design, will shift the colors to pink and see what you think. Also working on a bit different bird design, but have to have a day or so to work.. right now I am on the move.

Guess I will be the party pooper here...the first one reminds me
of a ringneck pheasant that one of our bird dogs flushed out but basically I'm not fond of either one.... sorry

I vote for the second design, but with the fire in pink, or maybe just the bird in pink.

May I suggest if someone doesn't like the choices, make suggestions. But realize, we'll never have complete agreement. Just saying you don't like either without anything else doesn't give a clue what you might like.

I have never been a flamingo person but used a flamingo the original logo because most did like them. Since, in some ways, between the original logo and Belle, a flamingo has always been part of the group, I prefer not totally losing it, if color, or somehow incorporating it. Therefore, I like the ideas suggested. But nothing is yet set in stone.

I'm anxiously awaiting Nan's design.

it really doesn't matter to me I just thought I would say I wasn't fond of either one...but if everyone else likes him I'll go with it no problem there I don't think I really have any preference to a logo just thought I'd give my opinion..
