Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday

Postby Colliemom » Wed Apr 01, 2015 6:46 am

Couldn't think of a snappy title today, so Wednesday will have to do. Looks like a pretty nice day coming up with sun and mild temps. Just made hamburger and cottage cheese this morning for breakfast. Have ther stuff here though.

Heading to Chiropractor this morning for 6 week check up, then off to get Molly some dog food. Plan to putter around outside today probably. Still have snow piles yard so can't do anything much out there. Back is clear though except for right behind house. Might have scattered showers tomorrow and really warm :D I hear there has been some baseball sized hail down south, hope it hasn't affected any of you.

Pat, thanks for heads up on L&C rec. Area. Not sure when I will be in that area, so will probably be full by then. Be after June 20th. Course could camp in your yard :) Judy, sounds like you have a new road to travel next time you are out in CO.
Barb, hope it doesn't cost to much to fix your jeep either, but at least you know what the problem is now. Beth, been meaning to congratulate you on a job well done and safe travels to SD. Will look you up when I get out there. Will probably stay near Rapid City and spend a day roaming around area before heading on. Sounds like Martha is giving Carolb the grand tour.

Guess I had better get moving here. Need to get cleaned up and dressed. So, you al have a nice day, be safe if you are on the road.

Mornin' Sue, Donna & all that follow...

I remembered Rabbits today (that's a first) then April Fools! I heard Google Maps has Pac Man you can plan on maps today, but I haven't found a location yet where the option exists. One of the best I saw was Mapquest a few years ago that gave directions on how to get from New York to London and one of the directions was 'swim 3000 miles' :)

Yike's alligators Donna! One really good reason I'm not a fan of Florida, but am sure I'll go there anyway at some time. Think I'd rather see a bear than a gator. For some reason I think I'd have a better chance with a bear.

Hopefully going to try the full hitch / unhitch this Friday, but now they are talking about dropping temps again and possibly rain & snow! I did try connecting the Blue Ox chains the other day. Of course it was really easy since there was no weight on it, but at least I could see exactly how it worked.

I see Beth & a few others are on the move again or will be soon. Sure wish I was too. Baby steps...baby steps...

Have a good day everyone and if you're on the road ~ stay safe.

Good Morning all,
Remember it is April Fools day so be wary of tricks. :) Glad you mentioned you had your roof caulked Donna I need to see if mine needs it. I brought Elsie home from storage yesterday and have an appointment the 7th to take her in for a check up. I have the windows open and poured water down the drains as there was a funny odor that I haven't noticed before. Cheryl I hope you don't get snow and you get to practice. I got up a little early today woke at five and just couldn't go back to sleep, finally gave up and got up at six I think I woke the birds.
Take care and enjoy your day.

Oh, goodness, I remembered to say Rabbits!

William looked all around. "A rabbit? Where is the rabbit? Rabbits run fast! Can I chase the rabbit?" Sometimes it's tough being a dog. :D

I am home on my split for a few hours. Very busy today.

I am feeling much better today. Just slightly off-kilter, but not too noticable unless I turn my head too quick.

Very warm and windy now, in the 70's but I can see the clouds building to the west. We are supposed to get some possibly severe storms tonight. The wind is really pushing the lake ice around now so the remaining ice will probably come off by tomorrow, especially if we get some heavy rains tonight. I have the windows open in my place now for some fresh air but it is SO noisy with the street traffic right below my apartment!

Sounds like a lot of you are heading out for summer destinations or are at least in the planning stages. I have no camping plans as of yet. Probably won't be buying a popup camper until next winter now. The prices on CL have gone way up on them and out of my price range. Should have snapped one of them up this winter when they were so cheap!

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

In this mornings email, a email with video from Leisure Travel vans. Said they are celebrating the 50 th anniversary of LTV in style by hiding 50 -1 kg bars of gold all over and each LT owners GPS would automatically receive a signal showing them on the map. Pretty funny and he said April Fools at the end. Love people taking time for the fun of all.
Kind of chilly (CA chilly, laughable calling it chilly for some of you, but my feet are cold). Have to take son for recheck of his knee in a few hours. All else good here. Hoping to take a day trip near the 10th for our 39 th anniversary.
Have a good day all.

How about Woohoo Wednesday, Sue? As in, I'm on the road again, woohoo! Got out of Florida, just over the border in St. Mary's, GA. The St. Mary's River forms the border between FL and GA. Will be traveling slowly up the east coast with Nan, and Carol is traveling part way with us on her way to NC. Today was an easy drive and had a fun afternoon. Blog post in the General thread.

We took 301 to Callahan, then 200/A1A to I-95. Only 10 miles on I-95 to Exit 1. We'll be using Rte 17 some as we continue north. 301 is a good 4-lane divided highway.
