Tuesday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sue, Lewis and Clark is a very nice campground and is the second most popular campground in the state next to Custer State Park. It's about 35 miles from me. We don't camp there much anymore because it's very hard to get reservations on the 90 day window for us because it always books up. The Gavins Point area was our favorite when the kids were little and we needed the beaches and bike trails. We now enjoy the Springfield Recreation Area in Springfield SD and the North Point campground at Pickstown.

"Drive-thru" daiquiri places? Never heard of those... could be quite dangerous.

When I started reading this I thought you meant you went through the drive-in daiquiri place Martha and Carolb went through.

Hey....Yankton (where Lewis and Clark Lake is located) has a A&W Root Beer Drive-in with out the "root"! It's called the Ice House. You drive up and park and someone comes to your car and you order a beer and drink it in your car or on the dock. I kid you not! It's a tourist attraction in Yankton! http://siouxcityjournal.com/special-sec ... 0d889.html Just put anything in to answer the question to get to the article. I have to admit that many moons ago when I was in college we spent a lot of time at the Ice House!

There you go Sue...if you go the Lewis and Clark you can put that on your list of things to see!

Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I thought you were talking about going through the daiquiri place in your Class C too. lol Some have covers but the one we went to you actually could go through in a Class C. I don't think you could make it in a Class A. The other times I have been through there they gave me a jello shot too. We didn't get our jello shot.

Carolb, just pulled out so she's on the road again. If I didn't have a trip planned for next week I might have followed her.
