Merry Monday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Merry Monday

Postby Colliemom » Mon Mar 23, 2015 6:12 am

Morning all,

Another week has begun. Some off to work this morning, some off to play or on the road, some of us, we'll, we are just off to another week of whatever. Carolb is probably awake and waiting to hit the road. Sarah, waiting for rains to stop so she can also. Alice has her life back to normal now, whatever normal is  Beth, I have friend who is tired of doing blog too. You do so much just keeping this forum going among other things online, maybe it's time for a break. Pat and Catherine, good to hear your weekly reports. Kathleen, prayers for successful surgery for son. Donna, looks like you may have found a couple of angels to take care of dad, so you can head to PA.

As for here, same old. Ned to,head to town to pick up a few things including money  Plans are to meet Louise (HavingFunNow) for lunch tomorrow, mini GTG. End of week is RV show in Traverse City, so will go to that just for fun. Mostly just waiting for spring and more normal temps to arrive and stay. You all have a nice week out there ;)

Morning all
After I finish my morning coffee I will be cleaning up Windy and getting her ready for our trip to Cave City in April. We got her back this weekend from having a review camera installed, a new TV installed and a couple of other tweaks. I have a few issues to fix where we park her in our drive to take care ( spreading some gravel and trimming some bushes back that touch her) of today too. So I guess I had better not linger to long. Have a nice day everyone.
Don't worry if plan A fails there are 25 more letters in the alphabet.

Good Morning all, Sue good to hear you will be meeting up with Louise. Tell here we are still here and to stop by and have coffee with us. Sunny and nice here but supposed to get down to 29 at end of the week, I guess I'll leave Elsie in storage a little longer but maybe since it will only be an over night low and in the 50's during the day it might be ok...
Donna I sure hope the new plan for your Dad's care works out, maybe you both would be happier having a break from each other. Take care everyone and have a fun day.

Good morning all. Another sunny day here! Wow, 2 in a row, not sure I can handle it! Still cold but sun makes it much easier to handle! I did notice I have some of my bulbs coming up in the front of the house, just a little bit of green but it's a start! Now just hope we don't get a hard freeze to stunt their growth! Kathleen, hope all goes well with your son. Will be sending good thoughts your way. Sounds like you are ready to go, Kermit! Looks like FL got their fair share of rain the last day or so! Not fun to drive in. Staying put is a good idea. Carolb, what time zone are you in now?! Sue, I know what you mean about days of the week! Sometimes I wondered why my mom didn't always know, now I can relate! Amazing how that works!

I took out my camera the other night to try to get some pictures of the the new puppy for SIL and realized I need to learn it all over again! I used it a bit last summer/fall and just haven't bothered with it so it's like having a brand new camera! Wish I had an instruction book I could refer to. I have pdf on my ipad but it's not like flipping through a paper copy. But better then nothing, I guess!

I got into a project cleaning out a cupboard in the kitchen yesterday. Now I need to decide where to find a new home for the stuff I'm keeping. Feels good to pitch "stuff" out I don't need anymore! It's a miscellaneous cupboard so lots of little things that need to go! I need to do some running today so I'll get back to it later today!

Have a good day and be safe if you are on the road.

G'morning all:)

Kathleen, I also send good thoughts for your son's surgery. Sarah, glad to hear Nikki is not in pain, but surely something to check out. BJ, you must get Elsie out one of these days! :)

Stayed a little later ystrday a.m. to have bkfst with Karen. Drove only 60some miles so I can meet with Colleen and Diana this a.m. Found an off-leash dog park where we spent the day, so pups are very happy!

Yep, I know I miss a lot by not being on fb. Last night I called Red/Chris since she's also in the area--I miss her being on the forum. I don't know why I'm so averse to fb--maybe cuz 'm so tech challenged???? Or worried about all the extra data usage???? Oh, well.

Time for more coffee. Y'all have a great day, be safe always :)

Kath, sounds like good news.
Carolb, you make it work, so do whatever you feel comfortable with!

I have got my blog back - temporarily. I need to decide if I want to continue with it or let it go. Or maybe just save it somewhere for now and revive it later. I have this week - as I want it decided and done before I hit the road again. Decision made and accepted, whatever I decide.

Off to walk the cg ... still amazed how soon I'll be leaving.

Woke up to 2 inches of snow this morning. Postponed my lunch with my friend until next Monday. Then drove down to the car dealership to check out the Grand Cherokee for sale. They got almost a foot of snow down there but the roads weren't too bad for the most part.

Drove the Jeep, loved it! Waited forever to find out about the financing. They finally sent me out for lunch paid by the dealership (Pizza Ranch). When I got back, found out I can't get approved for a loan on the car plus the difference in what I still owe on my Jeep. I don't know who was more disappointed, me or the sales guy! So I think tomorrow I will see my insurance agent again about refinancing my Jeep. They offer free gap insurance (good thing to have since I am so upside down on the loan) and with my new higher credit numbers and much lower debt to income ratio, I should be able to get a much lower interest rate and hopefully can get it paid down/off faster. Sure did love that Cherokee tho! Lots of wonderful gadgets, bells, and whistles, and beautiful deep red color! Rats!

Spent the rest of the afternoon with my dad running errands.

Kathleen, sounds like your son had a successful surgery, so hopefully, he will make a quick recovery as well!

Have a great day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Kathleen, the surgeon is pleased?!?! I hope your son is pleased also!
Barbie, that's a bummer about the jeep. Keep on looking, did you talk with Red? I hope things are OK with her and her dh. You do have interesting adventures.
