Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Top O' The Morning to Ye All,

Today is the wearing of the green, making the corned beef and green bear , parades and just plain having fun. Everybody's Irish on this day. As for me, my fun will be continuing on with my spring cleaning  Having a cool down here today, so good day to stay in and work in house. Moving right along with it too. Not much left. Today will tackle hall and living room. Then back to trip routing and planning. It's been enjoyable reading and looking and thinking of what I want to see.

Carol, safe travels on your trip home from MX. See the weather doesn't look the greatest down that way right now. Donna, noticed your post about road to PA. So you are going to go back there then? Can't help you on the routes, but yes, the Blue Ridge is a beautiful drive. Barb, at I will be going across MN on I-90. At the moment I am sort of planning to stop overnight at or near Lacrosse, WI and then continue across to Sioux Falls, SD. Looks like I might be returning via same stretch as well. So maybe lunch can be doable one way or other. Will know more later. JudyJB, thanks for info on Grizzle site. I emailed and received a reply back from them regarding those sites. Did you pay extra for WiFi, if so how much was it? Toss up between getting a non WiFi site and pang the extra or getting a site with all those goodies already on them. They also said the hookups are more toward the front and my sewer etc. are in the back of my trailer. Yesterday I also found out about another KOA out there that is about 7 miles from West Yellowstone but looks like a beautiful spot. Only issue is the added miles driving back and forth into the park etc., so not sure I want to do that. 37 miles alone to Old Faithful from out there.

OKey dokey, enough from this end. You all have a great St.Paddy's day out there :)

G'morning and Happy St Pat's day:)

Glad to hear everyone is doing well! Sounds like winter is on it's way out finally:) And i'm on my way out--had some last visits with Anita, finally met Marda, boondocked with Sheila and Kerry, then headed south ystrday. Today, I'll pop in to see Beth. Sorry I'm not giving you much notice Beth, but I figure you'll be there. Don't know if I'll stay the nite. As much as I'm sad to leave AZ, I love the "road" part of road trips! Despite some "house" issues with HB, driving is such a joy:)

Y'all have a great day and be safe always!

Sue, I am pretty sure the WiFi was free at Grizzly. I almost never pay for it. And I can't remember where the hookups were. They do have pull throughs that would give you more flexibility.

I am on my way out of the Everglades to have lunch with one of my cousins I have not seen in several years--I have 29 first cousins on both sides of the family, so do not see them all often. And then on to Jonathan Dickinson and to St Lucie Lock and Dam for 10 days. One of the tasks I absolutely need to do while I am St Lucie is to pull my toilet and replace the seals. When I drive anymore the smell is horrible. I think what is happening is that since there is no water staying in the bowl and the seal is leaking badly around the flush mechanism that it lets sewer smell out. Probably pulling it out when I open a window or something. Anyway, no problems when stopped, but bad when driving. New seals on top and bottom should solve that, I hope.

I am hoping as I head a little north that the temps will be less hot. Whew! I have had almost two weeks of 90 degrees and muggy down here in the very southern part of Florida.

Happy St Patrick's Day, I'm not sure if I'm Irish but I feel like it so that must count. It was almost 80 yesterday and although I am grateful it is warmer that is too warm too soon. Mitzi woke me up in the night with an ear ache so at 3:30 I was up cleaning her ear. I was glad I still had some ointment left from her last episode. I should have been doing the vinegar an water thing at least once a week but just forgot. I am surprised she didn't show any symptoms until last night as the ear was pretty bad. Just finished vacuuming the floors, it made me almost wish for the snow to come back, much easier than cleaning up muddy paw prints.
Have a safe journey as you start back east Carolb. Judyjb and Donna hope it cools off down there.

Good morning all. Carolb, glad to see your post. Was wondering about you! Winter is slowly leaving us, I think! Still calling for some cold and possible snow showers toward the end of the week but it won't stay for long! I took a drive yesterday just to get out and noticed the trees are starting to show the "spring green". So soon they'll start budding out! Tonight is Italian for me! I'm going to show my friend how to make gnocci. DH always made them but I should be able to pull it off! We've been planning this all winter but everytime we thought we'd do it the weather turned bad so tonight is the night. We didn't even think about Saint Paddy Day!

The boys finally got to the groomer the other day and they look so much better! Didn't quite go to the summer cut but they both have lots less fur! And they know they look better! Course now we're dealing with mud in the yard! If it's there, they find it! Lots of wiping feet, when I can catch them coming in!

Looks like lots of plans being made for travel. My plans are still jello, I still want to try to make it to Hatteras this spring but we'll see! After that, don't know what'll happen! At this point I just want to get Lola uncovered! One step at a time!

Time to get something accomplished before I leave so I'll wish you all a good day and stay safe.

Good morning
Another beautiful, hot day in north central FL.
I joined Irmi this morning for her yoga class. I am hoping to find a beginner class when I get home. Still know very little about the art of yoga.
Big plans for today: Steve, Irmi and I are going to meet Nan, Liz and her grandson for lunch at an all you can eat buffet place which is Irmi's favorite restaurant. My downfall as I seem to always eat too much at places like that and feel it necessary to get my moneys worth.
Am dreading getting home to scales to learn what has happened to my weight loss program on this trip. The past 3 weeks on steroids sure hasn't helped plus too much good food.
Am concerned that my FitBit One does not seem to be taking/holding charge properly all of a sudden. Need that thing working to keep me on track with walking. Really pleased that I have meet my daily step goal the past two days. Have it back on charger again now.
Have a great day

The little bit of Irish in me is moving very slowly this morning... what a warm day we had yesterday 75 here in Normal... today a bit cooler in the 50s how nice is it to not be complaining about snow...
My daughter Margie took me to lunch yesterday... it was very nice... we gabbed and gabbed... then we went to her home and I saw her new machinieS and yes that is a capital S she has many... could not even begin to understand them... a cricket a new embroardy machine a surger and many others... she took their 4th bedroom on the first floor and set it up... John will one day build her some cupboards and a desk to put things on... for now she has a long table and another table and a couple of chests to store things in and on... wow she sure took those sewing classes we gave her for graduation along with a sewing machine to heart... she knows more than I ever knew...
She is on Atkins and is doing very well... it is a bit different from when we were on it a few years ago... I am looking at the program... sadly I gained back 5 of the 20 lb I lost a couple of years ago... this is not good at all...
My fitbit is not helping me as much as I had hoped... the support of the ladies is good though... this is the first day in many weeks that my right foot has not hurt something awful... I hope to do a bit of walking inside to see how I do...
Has anyone struggled with a lot of weight and lost it and kept it off? Please let me know as I would like to pm with you...
Carolb a long road ahead of you... drive safe... Sue your plans are coming together nicely...
everyone take care one step at a time...
Kathleen or Kathy

Use today wisely it's all you have; yesterday is a memory; tomorrow a dream... KLW[/b][/color]

Good morning !!! At least it is for 10 more minutes :D I'm still at my DDs, came here from GTG spot. She and two of my grands are suffering terrible with allergies, so am trying to clear some of the dust and pollen out of house for her, while she's at work and kids in school. Maybe it won't get real bad again before everything is done blooming. I hope not anyway have to try to do this, the mother thing popped its head up  :D

Leaving in the morning, I'm thinking right now. Going to my friends in Lakeland, but planning to stay over in CG on the way for a little clean up, dumping and a few mins alone time :) I'm sure you all understand that part, right ??

Those north of Ocala enjoy your lunch out. I think I know where you're going, and probably a good thing I'm not there if its as good as Irmi thinks :D Those Lbs I accumulated all last year are leaving sooo slow, must stop eating out and even in others homes . Hoping that my NC stay , by myself will be able to drop enough to get back into my jeans for my trip west.

I'm behind on the happenings of most of you, sorry all, it does sound like your plans west are sure shaping up, Sue. Wish I could think that far ahead , but when I get to NC I may have a better idea. Thinking if to much involved I will just head west in May anyway as its been 3 years since I've seen my family out there, too long !! Donna, wish you could go west with me, traveling in our own rigs and meeting up in the evenings is not a bother to anyone. Just nice to share sights, area and also to know someone is not far "IF" you have a problem, when in strange area. Hope it works out where you can at least have a visit with your family this summer. Barbie, I think you will manage a fun time, somehow between work and care for your Dad. You always seem to. BJ do hope your planning your route to Tx to visit your friend, Elsie says she needs OUT !!

Hope all stay well and Safe and I know you're ready for whatever summer will bring your way, when it gets here :P

CArol :)
Afternnon, Kathleen, hope the foot is better today !! Thinking of you

Still morning here, also. Carolb showed up early and I had a site I could get her into. Full, but someone left early ... so her timing was perfect. That said, she has disappeared! I'll go check and see if she's back in a few. I'm guessing the pups wanted some leash time.
