Interesting data - gas cost 2014

Postby Birdie » Mon Mar 16, 2015 2:56 pm

I have a "gas"credit card. It is all I use it for. I received my roll up cost for 2014. My total gas, which is both propane and gasoline, for last year was $5,961.87.

As a guesstimate, I believe my propane was under $300. My mileage, well I need to look that up and it is not handy right now.

General area of driving was:
Start in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, New Mexico again, Arizona again, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Idaho again, Montana, Wyoming again, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas again.
2012 Class A Winnebago 30T (is for sale)
Coach House Platnium (my now rig)
Chevy HHR

Does that include the rv and car? I know your car uses less, but I think you put a lot more miles on your car than I do, so would be interesting if you know the breakdown?

I keep complete records on my gas costs - could check out last year, also. But I keep the car and rv separate. Last year will be a lower mileage year for the rv than many.

Beth, it does include the car. Got to get around to play and site see. Site seeing is why I tow. Suite Pea is too large to zip around for doing that activity. Need a way to get the kayoo to and from the water when there is no close campground.

Liz, they are full!

Hitting the road in about an hour. Hoping the fog will clear by 9:30-10:00. :o

That is very interesting, Birdie. Considering all the states you were in and sights you were able to see and all the things you did and people you visited along the way, I'm thinking that was a cheap price tag for a funfilled year !!,

Good for you, hope you're headed into another good year !!
