Hey there Amy! Samcat here....so glad you finally got the courage to join your family on their travels....way better than staying home! Pretty soon you'll be riding up on the dash like I do..lots of sun up there. Kudos to your mom for taking you with her! Hope to see you on the road....I've heard you're awfully pretty!

Hi Samcat and Sharon, this is Amy. My mom said someone finally gave her an excuse to post my picture. So here I am a few days ago in the RV. As you can see, she bribed me with catnip.

Amy, you did learn that it's best to be with the family. I can't have Sammie respond because she really doesn't like cats. Funny thing though, she was in Sharon's rig and didn't even notice the cat sitting right there. Maybe there's hope for her.

Just a quick update. We made it back home from our 2-week trip through Arizona and Amy's very first RVing. I'm proud to say she's now a veteran RVing kitty. She never threw up again even when traveling through curvy mountain roads out of Sedona. She's so happy she doesn't have to go to the kennel again and so am I ($$$).

Amy, congratulation on becoming an RV traveling kitty. I know what you mean about having friends just call you by you first name. When folks start adding the extra names it usually means that you are at the vets or the hoomans are upset about something....like throwing up on their bed, etc.... :)

Eddie cat would probably travel with us in the RV except for Gus, his feral kitty friend, that idolizes him and has always sought him out for comfort and support. Gus lives here in the house but won't allow anyone to actually touch him or pick him up even after 10 years. The Gray Haired Lady isn't sure how Gus will take it when or if 15 year old Eddie passes before him.

For Gus it took tranquilizers, thick gloves and a crate, when he was young and had his ear infection.... :? just to get him to the vet for treatment.

Wow, I wish I could get my kitty to throw up in the litter box!

Amy, you are very pretty and very brave! Good job!
