What I want to know is why is it when I find a bra I really like...the company discontinues the style?
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Next bra I get will NOT have underwires that try to work themselves out and poke me!
My undies WILL be wedgie proof! Wearing briefs....whats a bikini? Think I wore those in the 9th grade????
I'm into comfort and coverage!
Need a sports bra though....boobs bouncing to the Wii hurts!!
I hate shopping for bras...I hate shopping for bras....gurrrrrr

What was that joke that was going around a while back about the woman that had the string face lift....when she saw her face sagging a little all she had to do was tighten the strings a little....After some time she noticed that she really had a horrible double chin so she went back to the dr. and seems she had over tightened the strings a bit and that was her boobs under her chin...or something like that. Anyway it was funny when I read it....

Jenny, I too need to invest in a good workout bra for the Wii. Just this morning when I started the jog portion I immediately remembered I forgot some extra supportI And it does hurt trying to go without. I had to do it with my arms crisscrossed underneath. ;) I have two jog bras, from before I lost weight, so they aren't doing their job. :o  I saw on The Doctors show the other day they said that a workout bra should not be about the straps holding you up, but the cups flattening the boobs to the chest.

You know those young women that want breast implants cause they think they are too small? I just want to grab them and shake them and tell them to quit being brain-washed. Why do women let themselves be ruled by such nonsense?
I have been a B cup all of my adult life and now wish I was even smaller as they insist on heading south.

I've laughed so hard at this thread!

My over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder bras always get fastened in the front, and then twisted to where they belong....NEVER could do one up by reaching behind my back! My sports bras, the smashing/mashing-to-your-ribs ones, never cease to cause me to panic as they are over-the-head ones, and, if I get stuck in one, I always have a pair of scissors ready to cut it off me! (I have cut up about 3 in my life, I think,) I am extremely claustrophobic, and being stuck in a tight sweater neck or bra sends me right into screaming meemy mode!

As for trying on bras-----NEVER HAVE DONE IT, AND NEVER WILL! If they don't fit when I get them home, they get given away or trashed! Once in a while I will return them and get the right size, IF I actually like the style.

The thought of those white turtle necks that Sparkle mentioned being undies bands totally cracked me up!! My daughter has always told me that I wear 'old lady' underpants because they have waist bands....not crotch straps and below-the-belly-button elastic bands!

I, too, wear comfy men's boxers to bed in the summers.....perfect sleeping attire!

Happy travels!

Oh, soosie, I too get stuck in the over-the-head jog bras and totally hate them. Now I have one that fastens like a normal bra (in the back) and one that zips down the front (which somehow always becomes unzipped as I exercise and also give me a mono-boob!

These posts are all so funny!

I hated when I reached the age/size when I couldn't tell the difference between the leg hole and the waist hole! I thought I'd have my 20 year-old's body forever! Very depressing. Oh, the young things just don't appreciate, or understand, where they're headed, do they?

Yeah, I hear you, Mitch, my boobs and my butt have been in a race to hit my knees for a few years....not sure who's winning at this point! :?

Well, I'm not going to get into a discussion about bras, but I have to say I love lacy, sexy underpants. Since nobody but me and my DH ever see them, I can visualize all I want-and, can you believe it, I look just like the Victoria Secret gals. It's amazing what a good imagination can do. And because my DH has a great memory and bad eyesight, I can get away with it. carold ps Sharon, I don't think there is a topic these gals won't talk about.

Speaking of Victoria's Secret.... I stopped in their store to check out some no-line panties. She didn't have much to offer but handed me a couple pair and said to go try them on. I said,'don't you offer paper pantie liners or something for sanitary reasons'? And she said, "no, just go try them on". YUCK! I did try them on, over my own panties, but wondered how many other women had tried them on without any protection. Isn't that just WRONG!?!?
