I did start receiving UI, again, so that helps me get by until my summer job. It was so nice to put faces to everyone, as you said.

Will you be in Tucson for awhile? I'll probably have to make a day trip there sometime soon. Still waiting to hear from the dealer on replacing my screen door - that's getting frustrating now.

Woo Hoo! Going to look at another MH this Sat. It belongs to my BFF Carrie's boss, they are Sheltie breeders and travelled to dog shows with it. They bought a newer, larger one and this one is for sale. Will let you know how it turns out!
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

Hope it says 'Pick Me" and that the price is right.

Oh the price is very right, BJ! If it's as good as I think, I'm not even going to dicker on it. And my son the mechanic lives nearby so I'll have him check it out too.

Woohooo, I'm already excited for you ... But, not to be a downer - make sure the layout will work for YOU. Just because it sounds perfect, and hopefully is, make SURE.

I posted the article on Restless Leg Syndrome in it's own thread. Probably should this one, also - but I know many disagree with me and my thoughts on "modern" medicine. Just a warning:

I think modern medicine has it's place but I think too many doctors hand out pills when they should be suggesting the patient change their lifestyle or look into alternative therapy. I went in one time for a check up and my BP was a little high so right away they wanted to give me a prescription. I saw another doctor who suggested I go to a place like Walgreen and have my pressure tested a few times over the course of a week, it was normal. There are so many good alternative options that are available I don't understand why people are so willing to take a pill at the first sign of a headache or a sleepless night.

Thinking we should be there at least a couple of weeks. I see there is free camping on BLM land, there, for 14 days. Does anyone know of any other free or cheap places to stay? Chicago Rick should be leaving IL this next week.

Been sorting through, and thinning out, my stuff in Myrtle. Long overdue, so feels good. Didn't realize that I had a roof leak until I was organizing one of my upper cupboards  Thinking it could be from under the satellite dish. I think I'm going to have bedliner sprayed on my roof, so that should take care of any leaks. It is a chunk of money, but I need to take care of Myrtle. Still much cheaper than the quote I got for a new rubber roof, when I was in Q, and much more durable and maintenance free. I need to work like crazy, tomorrow, to get Myrtle organized, as I will have to leave her at the shop for about a week.

Some old workamping friends, from when I was out here in AZ, before, stopped by for a visit, this afternoon :D They're staying in Casa Grande, this winter, but will be at another park in Apache Junction, next winter. It was so good to see them!

Linda, I used to stay on that BLM land, but it's real dusty - so I started staying at a casino lot- lots of rv's there and they don't care if you join their club, etc. Casino del Sol - They only have rv's leave if they have something going on in their amphitheater. There's another casino lot, also, but I prefer Casino del Sol.

If you need to dump - Lazy Daze RV allows you to come in free to dump and get water (must be during the day when someone can let you in). There is also a truck stop to do so, but Lazy Daze is cleaner :)

Great to know, Beth! Is there a place to walk the boys at the Casino del Sol?

Lots of area to walk the dogs! Peaches likes it there. If you park in the last lot, you'll have desert right across from you - but I just find a place I like and walk Peaches all over - desert and the parking areas. And Peaches discovered they have real grass by the casino entrance. She demands occasional walks over there to roll in the grass.

(Just don't take the dogs on the golf course - and don't ask how I know that lol)

What happens at the casino, stays at the casino :D It sounds great! Thanks girls ;)

I went through all of my cupboards and compartments in Myrtle. Penny is full of stuff to have a small yard sale, so will do that this weekend, weather permitting. I even cleaned under the sinks. I noticed where there has been a roof leak and got a couple of my cabinets wet at the top edge. Ken helped me put a tarp over that area, since it has been trying to rain here, lately. I have been planning to get my roof coated with bedliner, anyway, so now is the time. It's a huge chunk of $ for this poor workamper, but I have to take care of Myrtle, since she's my home. I went to both places, here, that do it. I went in, again, to the one I like and talked to the business owner. I talked him down a little and he said to bring her in on Mon. Tues if it is raining on Mon. They will keep her for a week. They're going to do the front of Penny, also, as a rock guard, and the top of the rear bumper, where it gets scratched by the hatch.

Chicago Rick is hoping to leave IL, tomorrow....FINALLY!!! I was hoping to get the work done on Myrtle, this week, so may keep me from getting down to Tucson, to meet him, when I wanted. We'll work it out, somehow. I'm excited :D
