The dogs and I got a reservation in January for 5 days in Silver River State Park. We were lucky to get in.

Thank you Tina, great pictures and story!

I just happened to have saved Sparkles peacock picture that Sheila mentioned and surprisingly was able to find it in my unorganized photos!

Oh Silver River is where I met so many nice ladies from the forum... went to two GTGs there...
Remi kept Sarah's lap warm as we all sat outside in frigid weather! well frigid for Fl that is...
Thanks for sharing your adventures with the poopers...

Wonderful blog post, Tina. It brings back fond memories for many of us and of course of Hershel, the best camp dog ever.

Great post, Tina.
Love hearing Remi's take on things. :D And, loved seeing Hershel. ;)
Looks like an amazing place.
Thanks for sharing & for making sure we knew that was white sand, not snow... :?
Enjoy.

It sure was wonderful to see Herschel again - and to be taken back to another of my favorite parks for a few minutes... such good memories. And it's nice to see you making new ones.

Thanks, BJ, for finding and re-sharing that peacock picture.
