wow Beth all that is information that we gave our relief hosts when we went on our days off...and the part with the family
from out of country how would he be able to figure it out until he told them that they had exceeded their stay? looks like someone
to avoid if possible
so my truck is back to its old problem....it's stuck in 1st gear so basically it's a tranny problem...how much of one I don't know but
tomorrow the company in Bull Head city is coming down and getting the truck not a free ride by any means it's a 1000 tow so they said but
will give it to me for 500 one of those between a rock and a hard place...in order to have them fix the problem which is what needs to be done the
truck needs to go to them...my advice if at all possible go with a company that gives a nation wide warranty .....

Sheila, hope your truck fix doesn't wipe you out too much financially!

Beth, stick to your guns with that guy! Maybe he is intimidated by you!

The weekend and Monday were totally crazy busy at work! Busted my butt doing haircuts with hardly any breaks! So glad to have Tues and Weds off!

Was sad to see the Seahawks lose. I think they must have called the Vikings for advice on what to do on that last play! Otherwise, it was a fun game to watch!

Took my dad to a doctor appointment Tuesday morning. He is doing pretty good so far. On the way back, it started snowing heavily and was near white-out conditions on the freeway. We scrapped plans to run errands and have lunch, so I just dropped him off at home and headed home myself. I think we only got a few inches total but it sure came down fast and hard to begin with!

Did some shopping on line in the afternoon, cleaned out the fish tank, and that was about it. Have lots of stuff to take care of today tho!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Oh Sheila, that is a lot. No roadside insurance? And that's way worse than what I'm dealing with. And you understand exactly what I mean about passing on the information! I'll check when I get up (sleeping in) and go let them know in case he hasn't.

Good luck that fixing the truck won't completely break the bank.

Eh, Beth, I think I'd just not speak to this joker at all except where you absolutely have to. Life's too short to deal with idiots.

Hey Lyn time for us to get more popcorn and watch the show. LOL

We are supposed to get a big wind and rain storm here that will last for several days...and I have to drive over to the coast on Saturday for a class. One of the highways is notorious for having downed trees and closing the highway so will make sure I keep updated on the road conditions.

Karen, do be careful on your trip. What kind of class you taking. I'm in the mood for a stamp class but no time at moment.

Beth.....seems like there always has to be one "know-it-all" guy around. The campers probably hate to put up with his BS too.

Judy....those are scare lights and I totally agree that it is beyond rude to leave them on all night. I'm sure they probably have a separate porch light. I have politely knocked on someone's door and asked them if they were aware that their "scare" lights were on and would they mind turning them off because they were shining in my RV. They didn't realize that they had left them on.

My idiot camphost actually apologized to me for his behavior last night! I accepted and we shall see if he's better now. I won't hold my breath. BUT, he admitted that I know what I'm doing and am doing a good job - I think he actually said great. I have an idea his wife put him up to it ... but however it happened, I'm happy for it.

Now a new problem - I keep my gauge plugged in to show me voltage, and it's on the danger line tonight. I can't run my electric heater without it going wayyyyyy too low. I'm going to have to address that with the powers that be here tomorrow. Until tonight it's been good. Makes me nervous and I really don't want to not be able to use my electric heater, but will set my gas one on a low setting tonight unless this comes back up.

Thanks for all of your comments.

I sat outside for a couple hours talking to a couple about Alaska. Then it got chilly. Tomorrow I'll have them come over here (forgot that I have internet and none of them do) and we'll go through more and I'll show them some of my original trip blog posts. Guess what this means? I HAVE TO CLEAN IN THE MORNING. lol

never have wished for transmission woes right now I truly hope it is...it's under warranty right??? it won't take much to break the bank...
I'm thinking that I'm going to go to the bank and see if they can increase the amount I borrowed for the transmission to pay for the tow and just in case ....and if it's all covered then I have tire money just something I'm thinking about
as to the scare lights...I'll have to admit to at times unknowingly turning them on...or turning them on and forgetting
they are in an area that unless you notice them it's awfully easy to forget...so don't sit and home and burn a slow burn
go and politely remind them that their lights are on 99% will be so grateful I know that I would be

Ah yes Karen I do remember taking ACLS years ago. Well have a safe trip and maybe there will be something new.
Scare lights are a new term to me. Are they special spotlights or? Our van just has a small porch light as does our bus.
Beth, so glad he is maybe "seeing the light" and hope he behaves from now on.
Its after midnight west coast time so I can say, have a great day all. Thursday is another drive to UCD for treatment 16 of 42 and the son to PT for his knees. No rest for the wicked or the weary around here. Did get a tid bit of good news I think from his radiation Oncologist wednesday who said yes after this is done he is pretty sure the cancer will be gone completely. Waaaaaa I wanna go camping! Heard there is a small indoor rv show at nearby McClellen Air Park this weekend. If Mel's not too tired we may go for a while.

Karen, drive safe over to the coast for the class. I don't miss having to take all those classes.

Thinking of you Sheila and hoping for a good result.

Love you, too, Lyn.

Velda, that is awesome news from the oncologist! It sounds like camping time will come soon. Hope you can make it over to the show.
