Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Goog Morning everyone,

Up and at Em at 6:15. Bright eyed and bushy tailed -NOT. But the fur kid was. Now gone back to bed   We had breakfast, bacon and eggs for me and some scrambled egg for her. There's more if anybody wants some. Also bread for toast here too.

Looks like another nice day here and a bit warmer, but still below normal highs. Can deal with that. Glad all those in storm's path are doing okay, shoveled, plowed or snow blowed out. Folks on the East coast getting a good taste of winter this year.

Not much doing around here today. Maybe trip to town later and work on puzzle. Next month will get into some serious spring cleaning. Kind of wish I was down in FL having fun with the gals. But in about 3 months will be time to uncover the TT for the Sumer season.

So that's about it from the 45th here this morning. Have a nice day :)

Good Morning Sue... I was up and down all night... not sure what was going on...
very cold again last night... my neighbor Barb shoveled me out yesterday... the plow had made a big pile in front of the car and she even cleared my walk... so glad for that... she visited a while then off she went... she works 4 10 hour days so she has a three day weekend each week...
My other neighbors trees are dragging on my roof... they will have to be cut... when I opened the back door to look up there was a little squirrel looking down at me!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Kathleen or Kathy

Good morning Sue and all to follow. Like you, Sue, I was up early but the pups decided to sleep in! I was already to start on my second cup of coffee before they wandered into the kitchen and the back door! Guess they wanted to wait until it got light outside. Not much hope for the temp to go up much though! But we are supposed to see some sun today! I did get the driveway shoveled yesterday before the wind started and the temps dropped. Unfortunatly there was a layer of wet under it so it turned to ice. And the sidewalk was the same. Not good walking conditions. I put ice melt stuff on it but not sure I didn't make it worst. Should have had kitty litter or something. I tried to get some of the snow off of Lola but all I got for that was snow down the back of my jacket! That was fun...not! Not much happening around here today either. I'll probably take my sister in law over to the tax office to drop off her stuff. Then who knows what we'll do. Maybe lunch somewhere. But it'll be good to get out and drive somewhere. I talked to a friend of mine in FL yesterday, she said it was cold...40. I really tried to feel sorry for her but not sure I pulled it off! But I tried! Hope everyone has a good day, stay warm and safe.

A quick good morning before I finish closing up so we can head to Denver for the Slingshot trailer.

Between the GTG and then a couple days with Carolb, it has been a great 2+ weeks!

Sorry for those that are having health issues, but so happy to see those that are feeling better. Velda, Sheila's gift is so pretty and I will try to remember to post photos on FB in the next few days. Sheila, anxious to hear what's wrong with the truck.

Older daughter's family is planning a trip to Disneyland next month. Older granddaughter is having major Crohn's flare-up so concern over her being on immunosuppressant. Always something to be concerned about.

Have a wonderful day everyone and safe travels!!

Good Morning All!
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. We have frigid temps. here but have dodged a lot of the snow, thank God!

Going out today for an appointment for a second opinion on my MRI with an Orthopedic specialist. Will see how that turns out. I followed up with a lot of the advice given on here and was grateful for it. Believe it or not I was reading extensively how some people are finding some relief by eating a few pieces of crystallized ginger, faithfully everyday. Said that the ginger has an effect on arthritis and inflammation.

Also saw that there is an RV show at the Farm Complex in Harrisburg soon. Feb. 26- March 1. Good Sam Members can get in for $5.00 . Might just think about going there. Not interested in buying but it always feels good to check things out, look at rigs, shop around and gather information.

Should pick up a WIFI extender if one of the vendors has it. We need that and also a surge protector before any camping is done come springtime. Just fed up with campgrounds electricity problems. No matter what they say, it always turns out that we are not getting enough. And they make it sound like it's all news to them.

mixed up a batch of chocolate chip cookies to bake later and help keep the house warmed up. Stay safe and warm everyone!

Morning all,

Spent some time at the vet's this a.m. with Buddy. Last night my DH said he tried to stand up on the bed, fell back down and just layed there. Then this morning he suddenly got off the couch, staggered around the room acting as if he wanted to throw up but was breathing oddly instead, and never did attempt to vomit. Vet found nothing wrong so it's now a wait and see if he does anything odd again.

Yesterday I climbed up on the ladder to get the snow off the Direct TV dish. When I told DH I fixed the tv he asked if I was crazy. Yeah, a little!

Dog walks resume today; everyone was cancelled for yesterday except one owner "forgot" to call me. Lucky for him I am so forgiving and didn't tell him that normally he would still owe me for the day because he didn't call in. His wife is the friend of mine who passed away last year so I let him slide a lot.

Stay safe and warm everyone,
Kathy
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

Good morning everyone! It's raining here and now my dog Koka is soaking wet from our morning walk. And of course so matter how much I dry here with a towel she shakes just as she hops back into the RV. I hope those of you in the snow are able to dig out soon!

For those of you with ice - not sure if this works but it goes around regularly on FB and other sites:
Hate scraping off ice! Ice Proofing the Car Windows with 2/3 Vinegar 1/3 water! Just spray on windows and ice will melt away!

And another says to add a little Dawn Dish Soap to it. Some say it will refreeze, others say it works like a charm. Who knows? But could try a small area. It won't hurt lawns or animals.

Now, for those asking to see pics of what Sheila made us (and they were ALL different) I just took a couple of my set:

Aren't they beautiful?

Someone with a rig just drove by - so out I go to see if they found a spot ok.

Morning or should I say afternoon. :D

Well we got dumped on with snow Sunday night (14") and the roads were a mess last night. Michigan as always does a good job but Indiana roads were hard pack snow covered. Finally got home around 4am. Got to bed around 6 am and Chezza woke me up at 12:30 cause she missed me :D

Went to the RV show in Fort Wayne on Saturday. They had some of those retro looking TT's, so Chezza and I checked those out. Looked at a front living room 5th wheel which was neat but did not like the bedroom. Don't like when they jam the bed into the slide with no night stands.

If you are looking for a surge protector check out the Progressive Industries' as they carry a lifetime guarantee.

Love the knitted dish rags. They do a good job once I got past "they are to pretty to stick in a sink of dirty dishes"

Thanks for showing us the beautiful knit things Sheila made. Nice job and a great practical gift. I crochet, never learned to knit, but need to work on some projects like that with crochet one day
