Hope she does better than me when my baby brother was born. I was 6 and mom claims she caught me putting him in the trash bin out at the street for the garbage man.

Both big sis & baby are adorable! Sure it's tough trying to give them alone time.

And Melissa ... I think my sister would have liked to do the same thing when I was born

Melissa, there are times now that I would like to put certain family members in a trash can.

I spent a few hours with Celia and the new baby Olive yesterday - they are so darn cute! Celia will be 3 years old in June, and from the minute she was born she stole my heart. She's adjusting well to having a baby in the family, so far. My daughter is healing nicely from the emergency C-section and her husband has been home with her all week. He returns to his teaching job on Monday so I will be around to help out.

Sheila, I think I will end up with about the same number of grandkids! I have 7 kids and three of them are planning babies. Family holidays are huge gatherings, as yours must be. It's great fun.
