I did go out to eat and had delicious BBQ ribs! Yum!

I also decided to do the responsible thing rather than the fun thing , so instead of putting my windfall towards a camper, I decided to pay off some bills. So I just paid off 4 of my credit cards (which will get cut up) and have 3 left to work on paying off now. Also may just use my tax refund to pay down my Jeep loan since I am still upside down on that. Once I get some of these things paid down/off I will have more money to use later to buy something, and my credit rating will also look better. I may just have to wait longer for the camper but I can still camp this summer with my tent anyways.

Great move Barbie...a grand gift to yourself...in both the short run and the long run, your life will be less stressful knowing that those bills have been settled. It is so hard to live on that thin financial line. It took me years and getting the kids out of school and on their own to climb out myself. Knowing you have enough money for the next tank of gas is a good thing!

Happy birthday Barbie....sorry I'm late... glad to hear you're clearing up your bills with your 'windfall'....It's so easy to pull those credit cards out & charge & then you get the bill & it's not easy to pay off.
