Good Morning all,

Brrrr, cold out there this morning. -22. Needless to say, Molly didn't waste any time getting her potty done this a.m. Coldest morning in her young doggie life so far. But warm up heading this way for the weekend. January thaw time I guess.

Nothing new to report here. Just wanted to open Breakfast bar for you. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, bananas, pineapple, milk, hot cocoa, tea, here. Help yourself.

Posted an update pic of Molly in Pets for those who are wondering how big she's getting. Otherwise, have a nice day all, keep warm and safe. :)

Okay, that's it from here for now...

Have a great day, all... :D

Good morning all,

Sue, I must say, that new pic of Molly is adorable! I don't have pets, but I love collies.
Thanks also for the Shipshewana info in your post. Didn't know about it and I requested some brochures after looking at their website.

Nothing happening here today. I bid you all a blessed day!

Good Morning Collie Girl!!! think that is your name Sue... thanks for the update picture... That food sounds good... but I have to have my trusty oatmeal and blueberries...
Have had two good nights of sleep... my tracker shows a real good improvement thanks to Sarah for sending me a couple of articles... hope to improve the steps gradually to ten thousand but that is in a distance...
Rain wow that sounds interesting as we were at -1 today... will be a warming trend this weekend with possibly above freezing but for now and tonight bitter again...
Hope everyone has a great day...

Good Morning,

It's a small world. Sunday night, after thinking about my new neighbor all day, I finally realized she is Margareta Hyder! She no longer posts on here, but I had seen her photo from previous times and recognized her. We had a quick visit when I got home yesterday. She had posted photos on FB and someone had told her the rig in the background with the Slingshot might be me. She told me the name and it didn't ring a bell, but when she showed me the person on FB, I immediately knew it was BurninDaylight (Barb)! Margareta will be with another group in Q, but she will visit.

LeRoy and I left at 8:30 yesterday in mist for the drive to Havasu. Slingshot had 500 mile service and needs a new back up camera. Of course they had to order it. Maybe someone will want to take a ride up there with me to get it in the next couple of weeks?? The day cleared up and we had a good ride until we got near 'home' - had a few sprinkles between L's park and mine so quickly covered the SS.

I have so much to do to pack up to leave here Thursday along with blinds and water pump to install, but I agreed to a RZR ride today. Now rain is predicted and guess we are going anyway :( At least the RZR has a roof. :)

So looking forward to the Q GTG!!

Darn, you all are killing me with all the people going to Q. Tell Margareta hi for me. I saw her in November when we went to Fort Worth. She is an inspiration to us all. She has had the most interesting life.

Everyone talking about the exercise trackers makes me want to get one but I don't know how they work. I don't have a smart phone. Can you connect them to your computer? I might could use one with my tablet. Need to ask my son, he's up on all the electronic gadgets.

Doesn't look like we will see any sun today. It's so damp that it makes it feel even colder.

My hubby got me the fitbit, two years ago. It was very easy to link to my computer and though I watch what comes to the phone, I mainly upload to laptop. There I can see and do more looking at data. It's about the size of a USB thumb drive and mine is the Fitbit One. I wear mine attached to my undergarment shirt. They are not completely waterproof so a few people drowned them early on but I never have. It shows steps, distance (miles), flights of stairs climbed, distance at a fitness pace plus it has, this cute little flower that grows up the stem during the day as,you approach the goal you set. It also measures quality of sleep in how many times you are moving vs still time. That does wear battery down slightly faster than just, normal tracking. I charge using USB to laptop. It needs charging roughly every 7 to 10 days depending on how often I wake it up to look, in a sleep state it records but uses battery very little. I did sign up for the extra service to see extra data, but you don't have to, which I think is $49 a year, but otherwise free to see basic data. Mine has been a good investment in that it motivates me esp if I look in evening and realize a few trips around the house can bring me over goal. The fitbit one was $99 when I got it but may be cheaper now.

Good evening ladies! Sunny and warmer here today! Supposed to get to the upper 30's by Saturday and stay warm thru next week! January thaw! Yay!

Got a call from the social worker at the nursing home. She told my dad that he will not be leaving on the 18th, like he has been telling everyone. I guess he blew up at her (and she actually used the word "violent") and he told her that no one is going to keep him from leaving then. We have a care conference tomorrow afternoon, so that should be interesting and probably very uncomfortable, to say the least. I hope they give him something to keep him calm before we get there. I wish I was in Arizona this week!

Hope you have all had a good day and are thawing out nicely!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
