Morning Everybody,

Doesn't it just seem like we were celebrating New Years and now it's already the 12th day of January. Be February before we know it. That is my favorite month of the winter. Usually we have a lot of sunshine in February and it's also a short month. My friends and I used to go and celebrate Groundhog Day cause it meant only 6 more weeks of winter, ha. All in the fun of something to do in mid winter. Actually we went out to eat someplace

Took Molly up another level again last night. Been doing really well in the housebreaking dept. and I want to gradually wean her out of having to be in the pen for part of the night, after our mid morning potty time around 2 ish. Last night it was after 3 as mom didn't wake up So decided good time to try my experiment. Think she went into kitchen and curled up with my shoes as I went to check and see what she was doing after a bit. Followed me back to bedroom and sat there looking at me in bed. So decided to try that out and put her in bed with me. Sat that like petrified rock But after a couple of minutes and a very thorough hand licking of my left hand, snuggled up next to me and went to sleep We didn't get up till 7 Ah, the joy of a furry body in bed again. So I guess I am going to have a nighttime partner part of the night now. Unless she gets rambunctious

See you all seem to be coping with the cold weather and are getting some relief in some areas. Another cold wave coming in today but warming up by weeks end. No snow in forecast either other than a little today. Hope not, as my main blower is out of commission. will be gong by dealers today about it Also need to run an errand to town, put out trash and bill in mail. Busy morning coming up.

Excitement building as time for the Q GTG gets closer. Will be looking forward to hearing about it and seeing pictures too. Ten before long it will be the FL GTG at the end of next month. And then the summer plans will be getting into high gear.

Right now I had better get myself in high gear and get that trash out and my day started. Not much on the breakfast menu here this morning as my larder is getting low. Used up the last of the eggs and cereal. Maybe somebody else has better offereings. Have a nice day everyone and travel safe if you are out and about.

Good morning, where did the weekend go, back to work already.
But it was a great weekend although my car broke down as I arrived
for brunch with the girls and got home via tow truck. Jon pulled the
alternator and I'll pick up a new one today. Have the use of his jeep
for now.
Little rain out now but its not cold. Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good Morning Sue and Ava and everyone else... I have my trusty oatmeal and blueberries will fix it later... we had a break from the bitter cold... we reached our high for the day at 6 this morning... temps will drop and be 15 or so by evening... much better than below zero!!

I got some new drain cleaner on line and tried it a couple of days ago... I am amazed to have a free draining shower now... Stayed in there for a long time enjoying the warm/hot water as it gurgled down the drain!

John my son in law and my daughter came over Sat evening for a short few minutes... John is trying to figure out what is wrong with my fire place... the pilot keeps going out so cannot use it... it really helps during the real cold weather only need heat in the room I am in... as long as the other parts are 60 or so that is fine... He got some pictures of the unit and then was off to Menards to find what ever it is he needs!!! hopefully he will be here this week to finish it...

Am still trying to figure out this fitbit... have several friends now but I am on the bottom and most likely will be forever!! just need to keep motivated and move more...

Will venture out today to the store and bank... I have a remote for the car and started it yesterday for the first time since Christmas... it fired up right away... we got a few inches of snow last night so will have to sweep that off the walk and steps... it looks like I see a some tiny sun rays across the floor...

Lyn! So glad we'll see you at Q! Sandi, already there due to head injury;) I'll be heading over there in a few.days. Sarah, so happy to hear everyone was feeling well enough to finally have your Cmas:)

Had bkfst with Ava, Beth, and Linda! Also Beth's friend who is a hoot:) Well, they filled me in on a lot of stuff I miss by not straying from MC--and I can't even keep up with MC lol!

Good morning gals! Sun is shining but is cold out today, -4 below right now.

Got my Jeep back and the POS (piece of sh#%) loaner car is now gone. Now I can relax a little. Makes me nervous when I can't drive somewhere if I want to.

Nothing else much new here. Anxious for the Q GTG to start! Sure wish I could have gotten there for it.

Should have posted earlier. Very, very boring day because it has been raining and raining. I know, that is much better than snow, but I dislike it anyway.

I am at Salt Springs recreation area for just one night, but tomorrow is the start of my two weeks at Gamble Rogers, right on the Atlantic Ocean with a view!! If I can look at the ocean, I don't care if it rains.

Back to my book and TV.
