"Housewarming" Gift Ideas

So, do you have some suggestions for a "housewarming" gift for friends that are buying their first RV (one just like, or similar to Red's) - a 38' Class A Diesel Pusher motorhome.

Thanks!!

And dang, it's cold.

Hi Mitch, a small, different, unusual, pretty vase in which they could put real or imitation flowers. Lyn

Pretty matching kitchen towels, hot pads and rug. An rv'ing handbook of some kind. You're crafty, make them a folder with set up and tear down lists with a pretty clipboard.

So they decided they could possibly drive it? Good job of convincing them!

I told them about the RV Bootcamp and the driving school.
Maybe something is available at their dealership in Panama City FL (I think that's where it is).
I'll be heading down there later next week, so I wanna bring them something.
Probably end up with a bottle of champagne!! :)

Good to see you Mitch.

Décor is kind of hard to do because you don't know how they want to decorate yet and what their tastes are. Some useful gadgets or the Next Exit book are good ideas. Things they might not know they need yet. Of course, wine works with any décor!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Non slip gel pads. Not fancy but they are great at keeping things from sliding on the counter and probably something someone new might not be aware of. Best of all they are washable.
Holds our spice rack and coffee pot in place (larger items we use 2 to cover the base). When they lose their sticky you just wash them and they get their sticky back.

I like Sharon's idea on clipboard with lists. Maybe include a list of useful apps such as Gas Buddy and campground lists with a gift card to buy the ones that cost a few dollars.

Love some of the ideas. I love my fridge guards. Have some in the fridge, some in cabinets. Even got Liz using one in a window.

Some really detailed maps/atlases, if you know which way they're headed on their first trip. A departure checklist and an arrival checklist -- one that includes all the things you do that they might not know about/remember. A list of campsites, activities, things to see and do if you know where they're headed. Your favorite rv gadget.
