ANY FLORIDA GETTING TOGETHER ????

I'll be near Ocala from January 2-11, and then am heading to Gamble Rogers SP north of Daytona Beach until January 26, when I will be headed to Ortona South for a week or so. I'll be at Jonathan Dickenson SP near Jupiter, FL, from Feb 3-16.

I don't have a toad, but can drive somewhere and would love to have company if anyone is in those areas.

Judy, do you have reservations for your stay in/near Ocala? We are about four or five miles north of the city limits in a very quiet area. Liz and CArol are about 15 miles north of here in McIntosh, another very quiet, quaint area. Let us know where you'll be!

I've got reservations for Silver Springs State Park. Maybe we could at least get together for lunch. I have not been to that area for about 40 years. How far are you all from there?

I don't mind driving as long as I can park somewhere. Don't have a toad.

I think I could get INTO a kayak by using the fall or slip down method, but with my knees, I really doubt I could get out without some sort of crane.

Talk to Nan...her method is guaranteed to get you out...you will be wet but you will get out.

One way or another, it will be a fun experience and as Tina said, you will get out. Just beware of anyone with a camera who thinks butt shot photos are fun. Trust me -- they are not your friend.

My exit is a roll and crawl.. I always ask Liz to put away the camera. They love to catch me in the water, gave them a great shot of me coming off a bike in the water and everyone dropped their cameras.
