Sunday!! Last day of the weekend

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday!! Last day of the weekend

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!

Maybe I should have said "Sunday morning coming down"? It's still raining. And it's suppose to rain till tomorrow. Dang, might end up floating away and we're not even on a beach and Sparkle's no where around!!! Standing out on the back porch under the umbrella with the rain hitting it sure does make me think of being in the tent and listening to the rain. Nothing finer than listening to the rain on a tent at night and going to sleep with that music in your ears. :D

Boy was I pooped out last night from tearing into my room. Emptied 6 boxes, sorted, repacked and threw away a lot of stuff. Then after going out to eat we got home let our suppers settle and had to go back in there to pick up and clean off my bed before I could crawl in and go to sleep. Kelly said she was gonna just leave her's and sleep on the couch. Well that's what she was gonna do until I reminded her how early I've been waking up!! LOLOLOL She went in and cleaned off her bed too.  The kids have spent the weekend up at the little house they are going to be living in. They still have some painting and stuff to do. I don't think they have taken anything of theirs up there as yet? They will end up having to do some mad scrambling to get all their sheet around, packed, loaded and moved!!! They will be a lot worse off than Kelly and I.

So those are my plans for my exciting Sunday! What all in on the schedules and agendas for everyone else? Hmmmm?

Coffee is done and waiting and it it sure hits the spot this morning. Tea kettle is whistling it's brains out, please someone turn the burner down or just get it off the stove. Not much in the way of goodies this morning, banana nut bread, bagels & cream cheese and Biscotti. Sit down for a few, wake up and get them eyeballs open, today is waiting on ya'll.

Hope everyone has a great day today. Do the best ya can to stay dry and watch out for mold!!!!

Love to all

GOOD MORNING, ECHO, AND EVERYBODY!!

Sure is good to see you up and about, Echo, and not snoozing at your keyboard! I hope your meds have been adjusted properly now so you can join the world again! You are making some real progress at getting your stuff ready to get on the road! Where will you live when you get to your new job? I can't remember what the plan is----but I think you don't have an RV yet, yes?

It's a chilly 18 degrees here this morning, but the sun is bright, the sky is blue again, and it's really GREAT out there! I hope to hike back to the pond and begin getting the leanto ready for some camping when I get back from FL. Maybe Molly and I can pack a picnic lunch and sit in the sun by the frozen pond...yeah----sounds like a plan!

I hope you all will have a fun day, wherever you may be. Keep us posted on your doings, as it certainly makes my day to share others' fun!!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good morning all. Yesterday was the annual volunteer luncheon in Columbus for 4-H volunteers. They have workshops and awards. We always go up to the sessions on dog projects so that we are up to date on any changes they make in project requirements and judging expectations. They put all the information out on the Extension sites but it is helpful to know where exactly it is and what to look for. I always like being able to ask questions in person and I get to see other advisors and extension personnel from around Ohio that I only see a few times a year either in their own county or at State Fair! The dogs like the sunshine and think it looks promising. The temps are suppose to be even more attractive later in the week. The pups have already been swimming, that was in the warm up last week end. Echo, good luck with your continued sorting and packing. Everybody, make good of the day whatever your plans.

Good morning, up and about and enjoying the last of my spring break today. Its back
to work tomorrow.
Echo, you are certainly getting alot done, when do you give your notice? or are you?
Coffee is ready and I'm gonna make some toast for breakfast. The smell will probably
get the dogs back up and then they will want their breakfast too.
Going back out in the yard today to get some work done, preparing the yard for my
planters and moving more gravel.
Enjoy your day and be safe.

Echo, just a reminder; if you are donating anything to places like Goodwill, make sure you get a receipt, list each item, and also write down the fair market value of each thing. Great write-off for next year's taxes! The IRS insists on a breakdown of each item now. Learned that last week when I had my taxes done.

We have to be out of the house by March 31. Had thought in the beginning to stay right here until April 17 because of a doctors appointment that Kelly had. But she got it moved back a week. So rather than pay a full months rent for just needing the house for a couple of weeks we are out of here March 31 and we will camp out at David's new little place until about April 12. We will turn in our notice on April 3 or 6, making April 10 our last day on the job. OH JOY!!!!! I don't like only giving a weeks notice but......they have been known to let people go the day they turn notice in or at least with in a day or two. Also payday falls on that April 10 so that will give us each full 2 week paychecks by waiting. And if they do let us work out our notice? That will mean that each of us will have one more weeks worth of pay that we can expect around April 27 or the 28.

All in all that gives us time to mosey our way out to AZ. We will be able to take our time and do a little of this and a little of that. I want very badly to stop in Shelbyville TN and get to finally meet with an online friend that we have known for about 10yrs. Kelly and I both want to go to FL and catch up with Barbz too. Yeah we know that it's not in a direct line to AZ, but what the hey? It's only a short detour. I also want to stop at that diamond mine that is on the other side of Little Rock AR and there's a restaurant out there called Browns. If they are still open we want to get supper at. :D I know a few of you know of Browns Buffet as I've seen it mentioned before. Then one last stop in Santa Fe NM to see Kelly's x-boyfriends Mother as the two of them still keep in touch. Then it's on to AZ, YAY!!!!

Soos, in our case housing is provided. Kelly and I will each pay $50 a month. That basically only covers the cost of propane, water and electric. Which balances out really. If you have your own RV you are provided with a campsite and pay nothing. You provide roof, they provide the rest. If they provide roof you kick in and help provide the rest. Paying that $100 in total for a month will be a whole heck of a lot cheaper than paying $750 a month here plus utilities!!!!

My poor Kelly is sick. She's sneezing and hacking herself half to death. She says it's in her chest. David has been sicker than sick doing the same thing, he said it was all in his head. I hope to he77 they both keep it to themselves!!!! MOM DOES NOT WANT IT!!!!

Ok time to get back to work!!! Have fun everyone.

Good morning all. Not usually on the puter this early but woke up to SNOW! A good 3 inches and still coming down so won't be going anywhere today. Most people in this area have no idea how to drive in that crap so I keep the wheels at home. I grew up east of the mountains so learned to handle snow and ice and lived in ND for 6 years so kept the ability. Drivers out here scare me when it gets a bit dicey.
Echo, no wonder your blood pressure is up, what with all you are doing. I have been trying to sort and get rid of 'stuff' but not having much luck. I guess I love my 'stuff' too much :D can't seem to give it up. But I really need to downsize.
What part of AZ are you heading for? and for how long?
Take care you guys.

Good morning sisters!

It's bright and sunny here,.... I'm doing some housework and have windows open,... ahhhh wonderful fresh air!

Well our road to the basketball NY state final 4 ended yesterday. (I'm already suffering withdrawal!) Both our boys and girls were defeated by the current defending state champions. If you have to lose I guess that's the most honorable ones to lose to. the girls lost by several points but did very well against a strong and very TALL team. Our boys took it into overtime and it became what overtime basketball games are,... a case of an unexpected steal converted to points by the opposition and an unfortunate miss on the foul shooting line. Oh well,... The town stood behind the teams, attending the first game at noon and then at 1:30 hitting the road for a two hour drive to another location for the second game. "Carpool" and "convoy" were the words of the day.

Needless to say I'm tired today as after a mad dash after the second game to an Irish party (see my blog for that one) I'm laying low today. Just routine chores.

Hope everyone is having a nice day, no matter what your weather is.....

Marda, we are going to a lodge out by the north rim of the Grand Canyon. We will be working with Sparkle. She was the one who got us the jobs. My BP has been dicey for quite awhile now. But it has gotten worse in the past year. Finally broke down and went to the docs to get a start on getting it under control.

Cedar I am so sorry that the teams lost, but what a ride it's been. And your right if your "gonna lose" better it's better to the State Champs. Both teams can hold their heads up high and proud. Awesome season.
