Mitzi's $1,000.00 breakfast

Postby Redetotry » Sat Nov 22, 2014 2:06 pm

ACK ACK ACK She ate Michael's hearing aid. Well she chewed it up so badly it is toast. Thank goodness I found the battery or I would have to be watching for it to pass. Last night she threw all the pillows from the couch and then decided they were white, maybe she would use them for a piddle pad...of course the two she hit were really good down bed pillows $$$. I think I can have them cleaned or wash them. She is just a wild child, I have never owned a dog that was this untrained at 7 months. I realize all dogs aren't the same but, I've had a lot of dogs and she is the biggest challenge so far. Sometimes I think she believes the word NO means let's play.

Oh my! Guess its time Michael learned to put his hearing aid in a drawer at night. One can only hope the pup will mature away from all this naughtiness! her cuteness is small compensation.

Oh no, BJ! Sorry for all the mischief Mitzi has been getting into. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things settle down for you.

Velda, he does put it away at night on top of a dresser, from where we found the battery, we think it might have fell out of his ear or he was so sleepy when he went to bed, he missed the dresser and of course didn't hear it when it hit the floor.

On a positive note the $1,000 did not involve surgery....yet, anyway. Keep breathing. How is she doing in puppy class and obedience training. Havenese are one of the intelligent trainable toy breeds, but being intelligent in her case may just be that she can see every loop-hole and inconsistency and is using them all to train the two of you....

I was afraid to read this one...so sorry for the expense! I put my hearing aids in a dryer/sanitizer at night.

I was afraid to read this one, too!

Maybe insurance will cover it? Can't hurt to ask?

Dollar wise Mitzi has Radar beat! We only replaced three pair of glasses and hold the school record for paying for the most pad replacements for Ryan's football uniform pants!

Mitzi! What are you doing little girl? Bad puppy.

BJ - hope DH has a spare. Sorry to hear she's being a little stinker, but you knew she was the most active in the litter. ;) Hopefully she will get out of this 'into everything' phase soon. Just like having a little kid in the house, gotta keep your eye on her. Maybe she's what's making Toby having problems with his dishes. Don't know what she may have done to him when you weren't looking.

Hang in there!!
