Wow....So surprised that I am remembered.... thank you all for your kind thoughts. Now the wine...hmmmm that's another story. I will enjoy it for sure, but in smaller doses as I've noticed that my party days of consuming large amounts have come to somewhat of an end.... the hang-overs last 2-3 days now.... 
Sometimes it's worth it however....
I've been reading the Thanksgiving posts & learned that I am not the only one with not so good memories... sounds dumb, but it's a comfort to not feel alone...
On a more positive note, my best Birthday present was that my son visited me today bringing hot soup (as I have not been feeling well for the past week) and actually sat down & stayed awhile. It was so nice to just talk without others around.... Guess we talk differently when we are alone face to face. Anyhow, my family is sort of 'fractured' and it seems there are more 'down' times than 'up' times.... wish it were different but it's not. And the other best present I got was from my Grandson in college at ASU who texted me at 12:01AM to be the first to wish my a happy day....love that kid...
Anyhow, I am most grateful to all of you for thinking of me & taking the time to send me good wishes....Bless each & every one of you for being so thoughtful....hope something wonderful happens in your life (s) today as that old saying goes.... what goes around comes around.... still waiting for that to happen to my EX....
