OK, so I had planned to leave Monday. The high Monday is to be 12 - and the low overnight Monday is now predicted to be from 2 to -2 (which means it'll be about 2, without considering windchill on Tuesday morning. So, I'll leave Tuesday morning sometime - when it's supposed to finally break freezing temps - and I'll be heading south, so it looks like I'll gain another 5-10 degrees doing that AND see lows only in the upper teens or better that night. Winds are supposed to be really high tomorrow, a tad less Monday, then pick up as Tuesday progresses - and be the worst on Tuesday evening - and I plan to be off the road before that happens. In two days time I could be lucky and even have overnight temps above freezing.

I'm so sick of worrying about the weather for this coming week! But my alternative would have been to winterize, and I don't have the stuff to do that - this cold was not supposed to happen yet!

Sorry that so many are feeling it - all the way south!

Thanks, Velda. When I'm sitting in my rig inside this building, it's hard to imagine what it's doing outside - until I go let Peaches out. brrrrrr. She's gotten so good that other than the morning and after work walks, which are shorter than normal, later (actually a couple minutes ago) when she wants to go - I can take her to one of the doors in the building and send her out on her own - she just ran out, peed and came right back to the door. It must be cold for this dog to do that. We can usually walk a couple blocks before she pees, and she would have normally sat and pouted outside the door because I didn't come out with.
